- During a drunken on-mud rant, Sirak proposed to both Cordir and Borneo in a span of minutes. Sirak says 'so will you marry me?'. Sirak glares at Borneo. Borneo would be most, most, honored. Borneo was one of the Conclave's most aggressive members, fearlessly running into combat whenever she could. As a player, Borneo was a lot of fun. I remember when I was working on my Triat Mastery Quest and got to the very last item: a bag or steak of the Guardian Vampire. I had spent weeks trying to get to the one that lives in the Chapel Catacombs, but then learned that the Gate scroll in the Pyramid could be used to Summon a vampire. I went through the trial of getting the scroll of promise from the Keeper of the Scrolls, and went to Temple Courtyard to summon the vampire and fight it (solo). Borneo was standing by to bag it. She was 30th level at this point. I killed the mob, and she tried to make a bag... and failed. I had to go get the scroll again and fight the Vampire a second time. Fortunately, the bag was made the second time, and I completed my quest with her help. |

It was very much a mutual respect thing between Borneo and I. Even though we rarely mixed it up, when we did, it was just the price of doing business and wasn't personal. There was a whole gang of Conclave then -- and unless other people were involved we didn't fight each other. Never one on one. I killed him in the Brawl in the Hall, but he killed me, too, at some point I'm sure... just not logged. We chatted frequently. |

Player Information:
Borneo was played by an ambulance EMT from Southern California, named Paul, who attended UCLA. He was a regular at the Southern California GTs, and was good friends with Cordir, Gryphon, ZARA and Polnevdra. Borneo was one of his highest level characters, amidst a stable of well over a dozen crazed killers (many of whom wound up getting deleted for inappropriate language). After Borneo heard tale of all of the smack that Majere was talking at the September 3rd, 1999 Get Together in Tucson, he took the paper plate that everyone had autographed and licked it, proclaiming that he was “making sweet vicarious love” to Majere via the proxy of the paper plate.
