......... bronzed skin glistening in the sun ....... .................. powerful muscles rippling at the slightest movement ........ .... golden locks cascading down around broad shoulders .... ........... a pinnacle of physical perfection .... At least, that is what you had expected when you heard that Gup was from the fabled Great Southern Land. The man standing before you, however, is definitely not what you had expected. Strong and agile are two words you would not use to describe him. Handsome and elegant are two more. His hair is unkept, and he appears to be covered in a thin layer of dust and grime. His armour, if it could even be called armour, looks as if it is about to fall apart. It appears to have been pitted and etched many times, and obviously has not been attended to for quite some time. Gup! Gup the Wagnificent! Gup the shoulderpuppy! Gup! My early TFC would not have been the same without Gup's presence. He was a delight and a joy, who made you grin even when you didn't want to. His heart was broken when his beloved Sylar retired, and after that, we didn't see nearly as much of him. |

Personal Timeline:
- August 8, 1999: Syla is unretired and gets a new size 71 red aura. This prompts Tynian to post a note about remaking auras. Gup is accepted by her as the very first New Mischief follower (after a couple of months of coaxing and teasing and pleading.) (Sadly, Syla re-retires just 5 days later)
- May 5, 2000: Attempting to reach the Longship for a CR, Keat bad recalls to Velalasier and dies.. Gup, Trakker, Brenick and Tiuri all go in to get his corpse.
- March 22, 2001: Gup talks in "Australian" a lot.
- August 11, 2001: Cordir holds an impromptu trivia contest was held - with over 75 questions asked. When all was said and done, here's how folks did: LeiLani - the winner with 15 points.Gup & Raile = 9 1/2 points each, Thingone = 6 points ( more, if he had answered on the right channel), Jaerith = 5, Kudican = 4, Legolas, Belsambar, Whoz, = 3, Rath, Scorpio = 2, Ephiny, Aslan, Eddy = 1.
