Similus

Official Information

Similus was created by Khore, as part of a quest for Solaron, Huntsman of the Wyld Hunt, at some point prior to 2004. It was originally a sword, but the Vampire God reformed it into a mace. Imbued with sentience and great power, Similus was wielded by Solaron for well over one hundred mortal slayings.

Eventually, the weapon changed hands, going to Seraph, the Dark Suriel of Kerriariadne's Glorious Dark. There, too, Similus drank deeply of the blood and lives of mortals. The Booga altered the weapon slightly, renaming it, 'Similus, Mace of Suriel'

Look Truth:
Won by three Glorious Darklings in a quest from the Great Toothy One Himself, Lord Khore,
this weapon was lost and again found.  With his last breath shall it ever be yielded to
another again, so sayeth Seraph, Dark Suriel, Arch-Angel of Darkness.

Similus has a sister weapon: Seretas, the dark snake whip .

Similus was mentioned by Solaron in his announcement of intent to change alignments as a Deity, setting aside the Mafia and embracing the Children of Light: "My life has been filled with treasures, both tangible and ephemeral. Loves I have had; Katrana, Tylin, Miressa. Power was mine when I wielded Similus, weapon of the Huntsman for my lady Katrana. I have known times of war, times of peace and the friendship of heroes and villains alike."
