If not: I used to be OM29, 30warrior, 30 cleric. After a couple of years at that level, the challenge had totally faded away, so I decided it was time to move on. I deleted myself. I never regretted that, until like a couple of months ago. If I still would have had my old Lins, I would probably be back, playing. Why am I saying this? Well, if I would be still alive as my old character and a player wipe would take place, I would leave. If an EQ wipe would happen, I would leave too. It took me about 3 years to collect that set I had back then and I admit, it was a pretty insane set. But, I don't think it's fair to punish people who have devoted months or reallife time into something they really enjoy. If you spend more time here, you have the chance of finding better stuff. If you can't live with that fact, then don't play. So, to conclude... Player wipe: bad idea. EQ wipe: bad idea. - Lins.

Info (as of 2003): When I started studying (September 1996) I participated in this student introduction thingy. The year after I entered a committee that was organizing this whole thing. I met a few people and after every meeting each week we went to a bar. There I saw this guy from the committee playing this odd text game, and I was wondering how the hell he could be addicted to such a silly game. This guy was Noctus. He is (was) now my roommate, and well… he's the one who got me addicted to all this. I started playing as Grishmo in November 1999, but once I learned the real basics of the mud; I realized that the character was really bad. So I made Lins. This was in the summer of 2000. I was in the following of Robert at first, but after a conflict I left his following and joined Bliss. After I went to 30/30 I became her first ordained.
