Pitt's origins are unremarkable, being hatched and raised on the cliffs of Aaracity along with his younger sister Aleka. His features are more avian than many Aarakocra, having a short pointed beak in place of nose and jaw, and plumage covering his head, shoulders, and abdomen. His feathers are a glossy dark grey, over a vivid green down revealed when ruffled by touch or a stiff wind.
Like many aarakocrans, Pitt has a slight tendency towards avarice, being often unwilling to spend shiny coins, and occasionally deciding not to give a particularly well-crafted piece of equipment to someone he feels doesn't really need it. He is occasionally inclined towards seemingly random acts of generosity, however, and rarely accepts trades, and never gold, in exchange for his gifts. He also always helps a friend in true need however he can.
His adventuring career was started at least in part by that avarice, being fascinated by the copper and golden starburst worn by the adepts of the Aaracity Shaman Guild, and contributing to his early adoption of the thief's discipline also. Eventually his frequently singed tailfeathers prompted him to learn the skills of the warrior also.
Despite being a little tight-fisted with gold, Pitt is always willing to lend his spear to a good cause. He considers himself good at heart, though willing to help evils in most cases, and definitely too nice for a red aura. As a young shaman he briefly followed JohnPaul in Virtue, and Masher's ITK before they became inactive. He was then accepted into Life's Blood, following a Guardian Spirit who frequently killed and ate him, lamenting the lack of barbeque sauce, but to whom he was still fiercely loyal. For a time after Okk's retirement he wandered alone, hoping for the Spirit's return, but eventually joined Tamar's following of Dreams, where he stayed until Her Ascension.
Trivia:
- Pitt was a member of the Taoiseach - the Council of the Chosen of Fate. He was also a 'Hand of Fate' - a specific group of thieves within the following with rigorous guidelines.
