Ink is running a quest! This is the second part of the quest: "Seeking the Most Clever." I got a bit of a late start, as I was trying to get a few last location quests, with the help of Lexie and Teva... then had to repop some gear that got burned during a LQ. Finally, we got started! I have shortened the log as much as I can, with notes and stuff, but it is still very long. Samiyah (talk)

silt. To the east is a wide tunnel that quickly disappears into blackness.

Waves crash heavily on the boulders sticking up out of the water near the
shore. They seem to be the remnants of some kind of landslide from the
cliffs just beyond. From the looks of it, tons of debris rained down from
onto what was once a beach and turned it into a battlefield of sharp,
rocky debris. You decide it's much too dangerous to try and land here, and
continue on looking for a place to go ashore. A large slab of driftwood is
partially submerged, causing the water to splash over its surface.

You stand on the heavy wooden beams of the Safehaven Docks. Slips
line the east edge, where the docks meet the waters of the bay.
Barrels and boxes are piled about, waiting to be unloaded or waiting
to be picked up. Ships are docked in many of the slips, although there
seems to be plenty of room for more. You attention is drawn to one in
particular though. "The Butterfly" is the name proudly displayed on
her prow. The docks continue to the north and south, but you see only
more boats to the north, and decide there is no reason to continue in
that direction.

The Wharf

You are on Safehaven Wharf. Fishing boats are docks here, at the eastern
edge of Safehaven Bay. Fishermen sit in, on, and around the boats,
chatting and telling fish stories. The wharf continues to the north
and south, and you spy a small wooden ladder on the edge of the wharf,
leading down into the water.

adventurers, but scattered amongst the throng of people you spot more
than a few living legends. It is rumored that even immortals visit
this place upon occasion.

Rich mahogany paneling warms the room otherwise barren of any furnishings.
The ladder leading up to the bow beckons, a solid oak piece seemingly carved
from a single oak timber. The sound of people laughing and talking echoes out
of the bar to the south. Very faintly, you can hear the ding ding ding of slot
machines over the soft rustle of the cards at the poker tables in the casino.

The bar is decorated with pictures of ships and sailing gear, and looks
like a good place to spend the voyage. There is a door to the south and on the
east wall is a HUGE window, obviously big enough to be tossed through if you
should think you can hide here without a ticket. On the west wall is a huge
bar, and to the left of the bar is a door marked 'Purser's Office'. Throughout
the rest of the room are big over-stuffed chairs and an assortment of tables.
The bartender is here, ready to take your order.

This office is decorated with pictures of recent parties and ship's social
events. The door behind you echoes the sounds of a noisy bar filled
with happy travellers. The long sidebar to your right is covered with
the largest collection of ceramic bunnies- you have ever seen. That is something
that lets you know immediately that you can trust this man to really take good
care of you. The thick, plush carpet feels so good on your feet after a
long day of hard wood decks. The imposing purser's desk is a masterpiece of
woodworking craftsmanship spanning the wall in front of you.
