Pol is the author of Pol's Tale, an epic in six parts, the first of which can be found here: Pol's Tale - Part 1. It was written prior to 1997, and was hosted on the original (Primenet) TFC pages. It tells of epic deeds from 1x and 2x times. He also told a story about Cyrix and Sirak in their mortal days, which can be found on Cyrix's player page.

First, scent catches your attention: The richness of a fine cigar and the
sharpness of an olive soaking up gin. Then, the sound: knowing laughter,
the tone that of a man who has seen more of this world than most dream of.
Lastly, the physical: Broad-shouldered like a swordsman, the elusive grace
of a thief, and the aura of a mage, hints of purple and purest bright blue
swirling within. A grin that is both boyishly disarming and wry, sapphire
eyes that tell a contradictory tale of weariness and yet - somehow - still
alight with a sense of adventure. Faithful servant to a trio of immortals,
Sinclair, Tel, and Cordir, Pol was already jaded and old by the turning of
the Second Age of this world. The prankster Court Mage, the martini-sipping
jester, the weary adventurer, he has witnessed it all. His is a life marked
by passion and blessed by fate.

July 11, 2002: Taghk managed to find himself transported to Dhraxx, promptly died, and cried out for help. Duke Keller Amberlin D'Augustine and his trusty sidekick Pol leapt into action!
July 28, 2002: Sergei reaches Ma: 2 Ra: 9, and gossips 'You feel more learned!' 'You feel less influential.' In response, Pol gossips (in common), 'consider yourself lucky....on my last level I got 'You feel insignificant and worthless...why are you even here?"'.
August 4, 2002: Pol of Passion levels twice to reach Th:18\Ma:17.
August 11, 2002: Keller holds a long talk on gossip about thievery and honor, during which Pol reaches Th:19\Ma:19 and Keller becomes a reprisalist.

September 10, 2002: Maurice stops by the mud for a time as MauriceJr. Cordir, Tokugawa and Abe take him on a tour of TFC, including stops in: The Volcano, The Masters Tower, The Dream Realm, Wintermeet, Tier Sh'Halen, N'Kai, Cannibal Island, and Molotov. He joins Fate, so as to facilitate the travel, and is warmly welcomed by all of the oldsters in Fate including Saruman, who started playing before Maurice retired. Maurice stated he was pleased by the many zones, and was happy to see the high standards they had set for zones being maintained, and was surprised by the fact that so many people remembered him. Pol of Tel's Passionate immediately started trying to gear the 'newbie' while chatting about the old days. Maurice was delighted to hear that he is known for "snickering and blocking your transport" while in no-recall zones. :-)

Gregar and Pol decide to try their luck against Jair the Librarian, and he slays them in a single round.

"Shortly after purchasing the piece of rubbish which would eventually change (dominate?) my life, I learned of this thing called the Internet and got on-line with Internet Direct. From there, I found TFC easily enough, and spent many late-night hours waiting for compiles to finish, chat-friends to come on line, and porn/warez downloads to complete killing smurfs, dragons, guards, harpies and the occasional player who pissed me off. I immorted a character who shall remain nameless, got bored and retired and got interested and returned at least 3 times, and have generally extracted every ounce of enjoyment from the game I could over the last almost 9 years."
