Mercury shakes the chicken, making a vaguely percusionary pattern that could only be called music by the deaf.

An incredibly inebriated elephant trumpets into the room and barrels into Mercury, obviously overjoyed.

Golson grins wickedly.

Mercury grumbles.

Mercury tries to shove the elephant back to the seats unsuccessfully.

Mercury says (in common), 'Not right now. I gotta perform stuff. We can drink later.'.

Malystryxx grins evilly.

The elephant pouts and nudges Mercury again, waving its ears and pointing out towards the temple area.

Mercury grumbles.

Mercury says (in common), 'In a few. I gotta do this.'.

The elephant grumbles and trumpets loudly, quite annoyed.

The elephant steals a keg of beer from Mercurys backpack and wanders over to the seats.

The elephant rudely nudges aside several people he really shouldnt, and starts drinking.

Mercury sighs.
Mercury bows deeply.
Mercury coughs.

Mercury pulls out a tattered and stained book and starts rifling through the pages.

Mercury hiccups loudly. Maybe he had too much to drink?

Mercury says (in common), 'Ah, here it is. The story of the Candy Kid.'.

Mercury grins, but it looks like either a drunken leer or he just had a stroke.

Cordir narrows Her eyes at the elephant.

Mercury wiggles his fingers a bit too dramatically and the background fades away.

Mercury scolds the elephant until it moves seats.

Mercury sings, Our story begins with a child who had a dream.
Mercury sings, A dream of candy.
Mercury sings (quite tunelessly), 'BEER CANDY!!!

The entire amphitheater dissolves away and a childs face emerges from the fog.

Malystryxx grins evilly.

The child appears to be eating candy -- eating candy in the same way an alcoholic drinks after a family gathering.
As you watch, the thought But how can he breathe?? pops into your head.
The surrounding fog materializes and you see this child is tromping past some city guards, heading away from Midgaard.

Mercury shakes his plucked chicken vigorously.

Mercury sings, In his hunt for candy, this child ventured east and south.

The child, still chomping on candy, wanders up to a castle guarded by gnomes.

Mercury sings, Eventually finding an unlikely ally in a gnomish child.

The child suddenly stops, glaring at an even smaller child chomping on candy.
The smaller child and the Candy Kid engage in a dance of eating candy. A duel of consumption.

Mercury sings, Like most youngsters, friendship was built on battle.

The two kids begin a battle of wills and guts, in which there is never a clear winner, or loser.
As the race to a sugar-induced coma speeds on, the children seem to establish a grudging respect.

Mercury sings, They wandered near and far, seeking all the candy in the land.
Mercury sings, 'They learned all the legends and rumors of candy. The stories of candy. Of ogrish and elvish, of delicious and disgusting'

Images flash by of the Candy Kid and the gnome running away from guards of all different races,
Frequently with their pockets overflowing with candies and goodies of all kinds. Sometimes with elf ears crusted with dirt.
Sometimes with just raw honeycomb oozing all over their hands and face.

Mercury sings, 'But soon, the Candy Kid recognized that he would become a Candy Man, and that was just plain not acceptable.'

Mercury shakes the plucked chicken vigorously, making music like an earthquake makes animals calm.

Mercury sings, 'For adults dont eat candy. Adults live a boring lives, never understanding that life IS candy'

The images fade and a new one appears with the two children arguing frantically.

Mercury sings, 'Thus the Candy Kid worked to convince his friend to help him remain young'
Mercury sings, 'For all the candy of the world cannot be found and eated in just one childhood.'
Mercury sings, A spell was cast. A spell only an innocent would cast. A spell to remain a child, forever.

The gnomish child appears to be casting a spell on the Candy Kid.

Mercury sings, 'But not everyone agreed with eternal childhood'

The background of the Candy Kids wandering solidifies and you see a human girl dressed in pink. LOTS of pink.

Mercury grins, but it looks like either a drunken leer or he just had a stroke.

Mercury sings, 'As the Candy Kid heard rumors of an elusive beer candy, a human named Lexie schemed and plotted for love'

Images of Lexie staring longingly at the Candy Kid fade in.

Mercury sings, 'But the Candy Kid had a mission now! Beer, an adult indulgence, mixed with candy! GENIUS!'
Mercury sings, 'While the pink lady plotted, the Candy Kid barely avoided cooties.'

The images fade into the human in pink trying to bribe the gnome, now an adult.

Several scenes of the Candy Kid running away from Lexie or hiding fade in and out. Obviously distracted from the hunt for candy.

Mercury sings, 'But soon the rumors of Beer Candy overwhelmed the Candy Kids senses, and he set out in search.'
Mercury sings, 'Kidnapping, murder, accidental murder, accidental kidnapping, and much more were just stepping stones in the pursuit of beer candy'

The images split into several different scenes. In the first is the Candy Kid trying to ONLY kidnap unwanted sons and daughters from a dwarven king.

Mercury sings, 'But it can be hard to kidnap those who want to leave.'

The dwarven daughters are in lurrrrve, and the dwarven sons are indignant.

In the second scene you see the Candy Kid sprinting away from Lexie, with Lexie in hot pursuit.
In the third scene, you see the Candy Kid looking confused and asking a minotaur wearing an emperors crown if hes a cow-man.

The elephant makes a loud trumpeting sound.

The scene continues what appears to be the Candy Kid asking even more inappropriate questions, which clearly enrage the Emperor.

Cordir hushes the elephant.

Mercury sings, 'Upon finally conceding (but not believing) the emperor was not a cowman, the Candy kid remembered his goals.'

The Candy Kid keeps insisting that he give over the beer candy. Of course, his insistence on mooing half his words to the Emperor isnt going over well.
The emperor seems quite miffed and chases him all the way to the delving with a male elf repeatedly prodding him with a large club.

Mercury sings, 'But beer candy. That was the kid's passion, his white whale, his elusive desire.'

The other scenes fade away as this third scene grows.

Mercury sings, 'Sending Sparhawk into his path to sate this angry cows indignant rage, the Candy Kid poked and prodded,'

The Candy Kid and Sparhawk (mostly dead) are fighting a close battle with the Cow Emperor.
As Sparhawk falls in battle, the Candy Kid accidentally swallows his candy, coughs and his candy hits the Emperor in the eye, knocking him down.
The Candy Kid points a sharpened sword that appears to be just one large sugar crystal at the Emperor.
The angry cow reluctantly loosens a drawstring to a bag and hands it over.

Mercury sings, 'Thus, the beer candy was surrendered.'

Lexie appears at the edge of the image hunting for the Candy Kid, running up to grab him and ending up with just a handful of beer candy.

Mercury sings, 'And marriage narrowly avoided.'

Mercury hiccups loudly. Maybe he had too much to drink?

Mercury shakes his chicken violently so parts start flying off.

Mercury smiles happily.
Mercury bows deeply.

Golson shows his approval by clapping his hands together.

Cordir blinks.

Malystryxx shows her approval by clapping her hands together.

Golson grins wickedly.

Cordir says, 'well. That's a very colorful interpretation of historical events...'.

Malystryxx pats the elephant on his back.

Mercury says (in common), 'The cow-emperor might have embellished his version a bit'.

Cordir manages to keep from smiling, but the corners of her lips twitch with the effort.

Mercury coughs.

Mercury says (in common), 'and I might have been a bit tipsy while interviewing the others'.
