Official Information

AFK AFW
AFK stands for Away From Keyboard. When a player goes AFK they are going
away from the computer for a bit, such as to answer a call of nature. While
someone is away the MUD monitors their inactivity, and automatically logs
them out after a period of time. However, it is expected that if you are
going to be gone for any significant period of time (More than 5-10 minutes
at most) then you will log yourself out properly. You should note that being
AFK does not mean you are out of the game, nor does it mean you are not
responsible for your character. You might well catch disease, run afoul of a
vengeful spirit or bloodthirsty being, or otherwise suffer a mishap. Be
warned, and be careful.
