The Main Hall of Torkheim Cathedral
(Exits: south west)
Entering through the ivory gates of the Cathedral, a crimson carpet stretches beneath your feet to the far altar. Fluted columns climb to the ceiling far above, itself a graceful sea of candelabras. Rows of cherry wood pews march along side the lush carpet, their grain brought out brilliantly by loving attention. The air is heavy with the scent of the roses that cling artistically to the columns and accompany them to the heights of the Cathedral. A low, ethereal, music emanates from all corners of the hall, its peaceful tones soothing to the heart and soul. In gleaming stained glass above the altar, an enormous Phoenix hovers watchfully over a dancing golden flame.
(Blue Aura) A crystalline sculpture of infinite beauty dazzles you.
The northern wall is lined with stained glass windows. When viewed directly each appears to display the emblem of the Passionate. When seen out of the corner of the eye, the panes seem alive with images, ephemeral and vibrant.
The southern wall is lined with stained glass windows. When viewed directly each appears to display the emblem of the Passionate. When seen out of the corner of the eye, the panes seem alive with images, ephemeral and vibrant.
The eastern wall, it's windows set to blaze in the morning sunlight, bears the immense stained glass emblem of the Passionate, its panes seeming to wave and flow in an unseen wind.
Masterfully carved gates depicting craftsmen, entertainers and warriors at their arts stand here. The gates is open.
Far above you candelabras swing in an unseen wind, shedding ample light to reflect off the many windows of the Cathedral. The odor of the smoke mingled with the scent of roses provides a soothing aroma to fill your mind.
The floor around the central carpet is of white marble. The stones never seem to grow cold, and their pristine faces are never scuffed or dirtied.
