Opening a portal to Thalos Pass.
Thalos Pass
[Exits: north east south west]
You stand in the legendary Thalos Pass, site of so many battles and
long-forgotten stands. High craggy peaks of the Southern Mountains rise up
to the east and to the west, but this pass is wide enough for several carts
abreast. This is the gateway between the fertile lands and the vast dry desert.
Strong winds swirl through the pass, mixing the scents of green forest with
parched air. Roadways lead both south and north, and smaller tracks lead east
and west into the mountains.
The sky is cloudless and a cold northern gust blows.
You managed to trample any tracks that were here...

(Legolas travels to ....)

The Chapel of Kharad-Delving
[Exits: south]
A profound sense of peace and presence fills this cathedral-like cavern.
Easily capable of holding the entire population of Kharad-Delving, this holy
place is dedicated to the glory and wisdom of the Creator of the Dwarves, the
Lord of All Creation, Tynian the Lifegiver. In honor of the perfect home He
gave the Dwarves, the walls and ceiling of this chapel have been left
untouched. Rich veins of ore and gems are everywhere, including the many pews
that provide seating. A door leads south to the passage beyond.
You managed to trample any tracks that were here...
(Glowing) (Humming) An anvil-shaped altar dominates the room.
A chalice of holy water sits upon the altar.
Costanza is sleeping here.
Exuding a sense of peace, the priest lifts his hand in blessing.
