Thaygar's Lost Temple
[Exits: none]
You feel as though you have stepped into the infinite Void, ebon
oblivion surrounding you in all directions. It is not cool here,
however. Instead, the darkness here is the searing calm at the
center of Hell. You stand on a circular floor comprised of obsidian
panels, suspended in the void.

Six pits form a hexagon on the floor, an altar at their center. Six
fires of midnight black flow out of the pits, flaring to the ceiling.

Flowing from the floor, a misshapen lump of obsidian reaches out like
an ebon hand.
(Invis 72) (Intense Light Red Aura) [GS] Katrana is here.
(White Aura) A distressingly large, shiny black spider weaves webs here.
(Light Red Aura) Ink is here.
(Intense Light Cyan Aura) Cordir is here.

Ink smiles at you.

Ebon fires within the columns flare and flow outward into the room.

Ink pokes the half-animated bard.

The flames seem to dance around the Initiates, flowing over, around, and somehow through them.

Katrana nods.

You are no longer invisible!

Katrana grins Wyldly.

The spider creeps delicately over towards Ink, towering over him.

You curtsey to your audience.

>c 'improved invis
You make the gesture necessary to invoke your spell.
You fade out of existence.

> hide
You attempt to hide.

Ink says (in common), 'Weaver.'.
Ink says (in common), 'Cuddly Goddess.'.
Ink says (in common), 'Bard.'.

Cordir says, 'Initiate.'.

Ink says (in common), 'Guardian.'.

The spider dips its thorax in a semblance of a bow.

Ink says (in common), 'Originally, as a member of the Chosen of Fate, the admission requirements were waived due to my Wyld nature.'.

Cordir nods briefly.

Ink says (in common), 'Now, as a Triat Initiate, I come to fulfill my long overdue Geasa.'.
Ink says (in common), 'With your permission...'.

Cordir folds Her hands and nods.

Ink says (in common), 'In honor of the three aspects of the Triat, I swear three Geasa.'.

Ink says (in common), '1. As further penance for my prior unwillingness to acknowledge my Dwarven heritage, I vow to embrace my newfound culture and speak only their dialect.'.

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'Witnessed.'.

The spider says (in Thoras), 'Witnessed.'

Katrana says, 'Witnessed'.

Ink says (in sahuagin), 'In order to aid those less experienced than myself, I vow to never again take gold from a corpse.'.

Cordir says, 'Witnessed.'.

The spider says (in Thoras), 'Witnessed.'

Cordir nods.

Katrana says, 'Witnessed'.

Ink says (in sahuagin), '3. As a further stretch of self, and in recognition and respect for the Weaver and Her bard, I vow to attend and participate in Bardic Circles and related'.
Ink says (in sahuagin), 'events.'.

Cordir smiles faintly, and with surprise, nodding. 'Witnessed.'

Ink says (in sahuagin), '(DISCLAIMER: The Swish reserves the right to be held unaccountable for the content and/or views expressed through his performances...'.

The spider says (in Thoras), '... participating?... Witnessed.'

Ink says (in sahuagin), '... and acknowledges that they, in no way, represent those of an actual bard.)'.

Something twinkles in Aoide's eyes for a second, before they become dark and distant again.

>hide
You attempt to hide.

Ink quietly mops up his puddle in attempts to conceal his tracks.
Ink utters the words, 'sagg xa hgruqz'.
Ink seems to walk lighter.

Ink whispers, 'Shhhhhh'.

Katrana grins Wyldly and nod, 'Witnessed.'

The spider dips its thorax in another bow.

Ink nods.

Ink bows before the guardian spider.
The guardian spider bows before Ink.

Ink bows before Cordir.
Ink bows before Katrana.

It scurries off into one of the columns of blackfire.

Ink bows before you.

Aoide pats Ink fondly on the cheek.

>hide
You attempt to hide.

The guardian spider disappears in a mushroom cloud.

You say (in common), 'and do you find your vows constraining, Wyld one?'.

Cordir says, 'I am proud of you, Ink.'.

Katrana nods.

Ink blushes as he sees Cordir here.

Ink says (in sahuagin), 'Ask me tomorrow, dear bard.'.

Ink says, 'Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle!'.
Ink coughs.
Ink gargles a bit of salt water and tries again.
Ink utters the words, 'haiojzg'.

You say (in common), 'Or after the first Bardic Circle'.
You wink suggestively at Ink.

Katrana smirks.

Cordir says, 'Indeed.'.

Ink chuckles, evidently amused.

Cordir says, 'Which I will hold in a week or so's time.'.

Ink faints, falling into a heap on the ground.

Katrana says, 'Know though, I will require you to follow those Acolyte. As Wyld as you and I both are, geasa are not to be taken lightly.'.

### [Ink tells Tonto (in sahuagin), 'NO! DON'T DO IT!'] (*)

Ink nods in recognition to Katrana.

Katrana nods.

Cordir steps close and holds Ink's soggy chin in one slender hand.
Cordir looks deeply into his eyes, and nods.

Ink apologizes for the slime.

Cordir says, 'I am well pleased.'.

Ink blushes as he sees Cordir here.
Ink says (in sahuagin), 'I am glad.'.

Cordir releases his chin and steps back.

(*) Inquiring minds want to know what Tonto shouldn't be doing... (End log)
