DEATH
When your character dies, you are reincarnated back to a special place in
your racial town. Your corpse is left behind in the room where you were
killed, together with all of your equipment and gold. Any spells which
were affecting you are canceled by death, but the settings of who you
were following and grouped with are not affected. See also HELP CORPSE.

You lose experience points for dying, so be very careful! Loss of too much
experience can also lead to loss of levels, and in the extreme case where
it makes your total experience negative, it can even lead to loss of your
character due to non-viability! So be smart! Play with your head! CONSIDER
YOUR ACTIONS BEFORE YOU DO THEM! If the mob killed you fully equipped and
armed, and now you are running back naked and unarmed, it is STUPID! Don't
say you weren't warned...
