Samiyah glances sidelong at Venom. '... Shut your ugly mouth about Wind and Nicholai.'

DarkClaw looks to Venom curiously. "She is beyond reason, Venom. Her torment is too great."

Venom makes a complicated-looking gesture.
Venom draws a funny looking rune on Samiyah.

Samiyah ignores Venom and answers the Deity. 'I do lots of little things. They each help a little. It gets me through, until he returns.'

Samiyah whispers to herself, 'It has to.'

Samiyah shrugs.

Venom says (in common), 'Perhaps as individuals, yes, but they are connected to a much deeper power. It is not the creatures themselves that will poison you.'.

Venom says (in common), 'Khore himself is only the ruler of this evil. Why do you think you crave this place so'.

Samiyah turns towards the Goddess and bows formally, fingertips moving swiftly from forehead to lips to heart. "I am honored by your worry."

Samiyah says (in common), '.. but Ybarra herself told me that this is the wisest course. Take what I need, where I can find it, to help ease things until Wind's return. So that's what I will keep doing.'.

Samiyah turns her head away, looking suddenly very tired.

Samiyah turns back, fixing Venom with a keen and curious gaze, 'Why are you so concerned about *my* welfare, all of a sudden, Al'Shaitan?'

Venom's eyes narrow.

Samiyah claps her hands over her mouth, but a giggle escapes.

Samiyah retreats to the edge of the chamber, by the northern door.

DarkClaw raises a brow at Samiyah's unusual request but moves back nonetheless.

Samiyah breathes a little easier as the intensity of the Immortal's aura lessens somewhat with distance.

Venom says (in common), 'If you are so powerful Samiyah... Then watch... '.

Venom moves closer to DarkClaw, eyes locked on Samiyah, fangs extruding slowly.

Samiyah says (in common), 'I didn't say I was 'so powerful'. I said I'm more powerful than these..'.
Samiyah jerks her head to indicate the lesser vampires.

Venom grins evilly, his elongated fangs glistening.

DarkClaw watches Venom intently, eyes flashing briefly, not knowing what he has up his sleeve.

Samiyah's breathing catches, and she trembles, hands scrabbling to find purchase on the wall behind her. 'Step back.'

Venom says (in common), 'You act as though the essence of the Kindred is no threat...But...'

Samiyah says (in common), 'I said THEY aren't.'.

Venom says (in common), 'At the same time... You cannot resist...'.

Venom rakes his fangs slowly across DarkClaw's throat.

A shudder goes through the bard as she sees, her breath catching in her lungs.

DarkClaw gasps at the feel of Venom's fangs after so long of not feeling them, her head immediately falling back in open invitation.

Venom draws his fangs more harshly across the tender flesh of his Queen; a small scratch appears.

Venom says (in common), 'You perhaps have never felt a pain like this one that lives in you now... A yearning...'.

Venom kisses the now bleeding wound upon the neck of the Queen of the Kindred.

Venom smiles a dark red grin.

Samiyah swallows hard, the sound loud in the stillness of the room, her pulse a trip hammer in her throat.

DarkClaw growls softly, clutching Venom's form against her own, "Feed...stop toying."

Venom slowly walks around behind DarkClaw, pulling her head back so the neck is very visible.

Venom says (in common), 'You cannot help but miss this moment...'.

Venom slowly sinks his razor sharp fangs into the soft flesh of DarkClaw's neck, allowing each inch to be seen.

Samiyah's eyes well with helpless tears. She closes them briefly, and murmurs a name, then opens them once more, and watches.

Venom drinks, carefully allowing a small trickle of blood to seep from his mouth, eyes locked upon Samiyah.

DarkClaw groans and closes her eyes in utter bliss, pressing back against Venom, lips parting and revealing her own razor-sharp fangs.

Samiyah squirms back against the stone wall, as if to let it absorb her, eyes locked on the scene before her.

Venom removes his mouth slowly, his kiss sealing the wound, blood staining his lips.

DarkClaw hisses, "I have missed your kiss."

Venom says (in common), 'Samiyah, your meddling has finally brought you to a torment that nobody can cure.'.

Samiyah glances away at DarkClaw's words, not wanting her eyes to intrude upon the Deity's vulnerability.

Samiyah says (in common), '.. I haven't meddled. I bonded. With Wind. That's not meddling in anything.'.

Venom says (in common), 'You have... and you don't even know it. You have done far worse! For you have allowed yourself to fall... Your will is now weak... Only when the darkness takes you completely will you see the truth of my words.'.

Samiyah says (in common), 'No. I have withstood this for seven times the time I bore the Phylactery. I am strong. It's just my flesh that hurts. '.

Venom says (in common), 'You have withstood nothing... The best poison is the slow poison, they say. Now I must go continue my works.'.

Venom throws back his head and cackles with insane glee!

Samiyah slides down the wall, to sit on the floor, burying her face in her hands.

Samiyah says (in common), '... What does he want, Sayyida?'.

DarkClaw reaches up to rest her fingers over the spot in her throat where Venom just fed from, her words quiet. "I do not know, Sami..."

DarkClaw continues. "Without our bond...I cannot know his thoughts."

Samiyah frowns. What's bothering her?

Lestat, the Dark Enforcer arrives from the north.

Samiyah says (in common), 'I thought Immortals could know the thoughts of any they choose to?'.

Samiyah sits down and thinks deeply.
Samiyah says (in common), '(Uh, Lestat is NOT supposed to wander)'.

DarkClaw says, '(Interesting)'.

DarkClaw shakes her head slowly. "Something happened...perhaps in the transition between his former body in this one...but I can no longer hear his thoughts."

Samiyah looks down at the floor. 'I wrote to Wind. Told him .. everything... asked him what I should do. I don't know how it is that Venom thinks my blood might get tainted, but that sure sounds like an excellent idea, if it makes it useless to him..

Venom tells Samiyah (in halfling), 'If you are wondering, young lady... The dark powers of the Kindred are strong with me, my thoughts are well guarded...'.

Samiyah tells Venom (in common), 'What are you going on about now?'.

Samiyah says (in common), 'I know he wanted it for something.. and ...I...'.

Samiyah says quietly, 'I have been considering trying to goad him into battle... he bites when he fights.'.
Samiyah glances down at the punctures on her arms.

Samiyah says (in common), '.. are there any others? Other than Nicholai, Wind, Venom and Sparhawk?'.

DarkClaw raises an eyebrow at Samiyah.
DarkClaw says, 'If the ancient vampires of Sanguina are not helping much...neither would Venom's bite.'.

Samiyah's lips twist in grief. 'Then I will keep doing what I am doing. And try and endure it.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'I thought, maybe, if I could find one of your progeny who would.. that they would be stronger than the Kindred here..'.

DarkClaw says, 'The only others are Aphelion, Rufus and Tyran...none of which who are seen often.'.

Samiyah says (in common), 'Rufus is an Immortal?'.

DarkClaw nods in recognition to Samiyah.
DarkClaw says, 'He is.'.

Samiyah says (in common), 'I have not met Aphelion or Tyran'.

You hear a distinct pop as Venom's portal closes up.

Samiyah glances at DarkClaw, struck by the reminder of something the goddess said.

Samiyah says (in common), '"How does Venom know anything he knows."'.

DarkClaw says, 'What do you mean?'.

Samiyah says (in common), '... You said that, yesterday. Do you think he knows? What I wrote to Wind? Because him being here, acting so strangely... is very not like him. I don't much like it.. him talking that way about what I miss, and then him....'.

Samiyah gestures at the goddess's throat.

DarkClaw hesitates, knowing but unable to tell, struggling with the fact. "Anything is possible, Sami, especially where Venom is concerned."

Samiyah says (in common), 'I prefer the angry, bitter, nasty Venom who is eager for a fight. That's all I want. A fight. '

Samiyah murmurs, 'I utterly refuse to think of him like ... that.' 

DarkClaw tilts her head slightly. "Like what?"

Samiyah doesn't answer aloud, but nods her head at your throat again.

DarkClaw says, 'Like what he did to me before you?'.

Samiyah nods.

DarkClaw whispers, "It had been so long. I could not have pulled away even if I tried."

Samiyah whispers, 'I wouldn't have pulled away if it was Wind.'

DarkClaw says, 'He...knows the art of seduction. And knows how to use it.'.

DarkClaw nods slowly.

Samiyah says (in common), the fire that burns and you can't help but put your hand into it' ?'.

Samiyah smiles a little, the expression wan. 'I have no desire to be burned.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'and if I can find another Kindred, then I won't worry about goading him into a fight. Because believe you me, Sayyida, Al'Shaitan is the last creature on this earth I want anywhere near me.'.

DarkClaw says, 'I know. Yet it seems he shows up around you a lot, and I'm not sure what to make of that, either.'.

Samiyah sits down and thinks deeply.
Samiyah says (in common), 'Not as much as he used to, which pleases me to no end.'.
