Put To The Question

(Log by Samiyah)

Room of Records
[Exits: east]
This simple room has many plaques hung on its walls. With just a quick glance you recognize names and events that have made history and inspired many to even greater deeds so that their names would also be inscribed here. It's possible, given valiant effort, great deeds, and a (in)famous reputation, that your name might be added here.

A book on a lectern provides an index to all the different plaques.

Seraph has granted you the ability to see him when he is invis.
Seraph ftells, 'hello'.

You ftell, '*bows wordlessly*'.

Seraph ftells, 'you can speak if you want'.

You ftell, 'I feel empty and wretched and have nothing to say, Sahib.'.

Seraph ftells, 'why?'.

You ftell, 'because I am a constant disappointment to you even though I try to be good. I hate upsetting You. I am ashamed and unhappy that I make you angry.'.

Seraph ftells, ‘I witnessed something this morning that angered me'.

You ftell, '*closes her eyes and bows her head* what did I do wrong?'.

Seraph ftells, 'you did nothing wrong'.

Seraph ftells, ‘I saw belsamber bolaon and teva killing mobs together'.

You ftell, 'they are not forbidden it by their god'.

Seraph ftells, 'my point is why carry a good aura and play with evils'.
Seraph ftells, 'how does it look it makes you and your followers look weak'.
Seraph ftells, 'that you must seek aid from evil to survive'.

You ftell, '... that is very clear in Your view, Sahib'.

Seraph ftells, 'it makes it look like your god/goddess is a mana battery, and spells that you gain are more important than belief. It seems I am a harsh god and too strict'.

Seraph ftells, '* taps his fingers on the arm of his throne thinking*'.

You ftell, 'You are the only God I have ever known so I do not have anything to compare to'.

The Hall of the High Order
[Exits: north]
On the floor, just in front of the throne, a black iron plaque has been set into the stone.
(Blue Aura) A hand-lettered open book rests upon a black iron pedestal.
(Invis 71) (Intense Dark Blue Aura) [GS] Seraph is here.

You bow deeply.

Seraph nods in recognition to you.

Samiyah does not approach but instead sits at the fire.

Seraph ftells, 'you have seen other gods and how they do things'.
Seraph flicks his finger.

Belsambar tells you (in common), '*gives you some marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate* You have to find your own stick.'.

The fire burns brighter and hotter

You ftell, 'not a lot .. only DarkClaw'.

Seraph ftells, 'the fire warm enough for you?'.

Samiyah sighs happily at the warmth, stretching out her hands to the flame.

You ftell, 'yes Sahib- thank you. The Hall is always so cold .. it is a comfort.'.

Seraph ftells, 'the pickle spoke something last night please enlighten me of what he said'.

Seraph removes his helm, hooking it on his throne.

Samiyah draws her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs and rests her head on them.

You say (in common), 'that you are as you are'.
You say (in common), 'with structure and rules'.
You say (in common), 'a firm line drawn for acceptable and not'.

Seraph says, 'do you feel I’m to harsh?'.

Samiyah closes her eyes to hide the emotion inside.
You say (in common), 'You are as You are, Sahib. It is not for me to say.'.

Seraph leans back tapping his fingers on the arm of his throne.
Seraph says, ‘I asked you a question. You can speak freely'.
Seraph closes the door.

Samiyah stammers, "..i cannot say, Sahib. I just know that I disappoint and anger You much."

Seraph sits down and thinks deeply.

Samiyah says earnestly, "I do try to be good.. I do!"

Seraph stops tapping his fingers and leans forward.
Seraph says, 'maybe I should let you all run free do as you like'.
Seraph says, 'dissolve honor and respect and let you all act as you see fit'.

You say (in common), 'Do You believe that I have no honor and no respect, Sahib?'.

Seraph says, ‘I didn't say that'.
Seraph says, 'but if I let you all run wild then there will be no honor and respect'.

Seraph locks the door.

Seraph says, 'ask the others what they want'.

Samiyah blinks and asks, "Why?"

Seraph says, 'see what they all think'.
Seraph says, 'maybe they want to run and aid evils'.
Seraph says, 'wouldn't you like to run with your friends?'.

You say (in common), '.. as You said, everyone else is good and I am the bad one at obeying.'.

Seraph says, 'think about it and let me know'.

Seraph unlocks the door.
Seraph opens the door.

Samiyah tightens her grip around her updrawn knees, filled with misery.

Seraph has removed your ability to see him when he is invis.
Someone kisses your forehead.

Ghazkull's Story:

(Log by DarkClaw)

### Ghazkull: Entered Game

Grantsight set for Ghazkull.

Ghazkull ftells, 'hey'.

You ftell, 'UGH!'.
You ftell, 'It was a crap night. Everything was going wrong.'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'got feared to Jesters'.

You ftell, 'Ouch'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'Evie and Sami helped get my corpse back'.

You ftell, 'Whew'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'Sami is going to get in so much trouble'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'for helping me'.

You ftell, '*nod* Probably so.'.
You ftell, 'Seraph HATES goods and evils working together.'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'had a good bit of fun though'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'she told me I was stubborn'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'I told her I'd taken a few pointers from her'.

You ftell, '*chuckle*'.
You ftell, 'So you know...she and I apologized to each other.'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'really!?'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'I had a perfect opportunity to put the situation between her and belg into a different light'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'but couldn't find the right words'.

Ghazkull arrives from the west.

You ftell, 'Damn.'.

###Seraph: Entered Game

You ftell, 'I wish that could be fixed, but they are both as stubborn as mules.'.

DarkClaw: Welcome back, Seraph.

Seraph: thanks

Ghazkull ftells, 'she was saying that Seraph expects her to follow his rules etc and she was finding it difficult'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'I wanted to say something like 'Maybe Belgarions actions were a result of him rebelling against you trying to make him 'toe the line' as it were'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'maybe wouldn't have fixed the situation between them, but maybe it would have been a bit less palpable'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'if i'm making sense'.

You ftell, 'Her trying to make him toe the line how?'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'no, you trying to make Belg toe the line'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'it made sense to me last night'.

You ftell, 'Ahh, yeah, it does.'.
You ftell, 'I just read it wrong. Heh.'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'took both of them to bring my corpse and gear to me :-/'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'I need to work on my potion collection'.
Ghazkull ftells, 'the whole thing last night would have been fine with some cure blind/fear pots'.

You ftell, '*nod*'.
You ftell, 'I hate dealing with potions. Always have. Heh.'.
You ftell, 'It just seems so inconvenient.'.

Belsambar gossips (in common), 'c id magenta: Object 'potion magenta teal' is type potion, extra flags magic anti-good flammable. Spells of: 'sanity' 'curse'.'.

Belsambar gossips (in common), 'Obviously, sanity comes at a price'.

You tell Lucretia (in common), 'well... there are some very nice ladies here and there but you are right.. I have not me a lady dwarf'.

Lucretia arrives from the east.
Lucretia smiles happily.

You bow deeply.
You say (in common), 'Hullo'.

Lucretia curtseys gracefully.

You say (in common), 'so are you quite old?'.

Lucretia nods.
Lucretia says (in common), 'Part Werewolf, I used to run with Bliss, and Darkclaw in their mortal days.'.

You frown. What's bothering you?
You say (in common), 'how is one partly a werewolf?'.

Lucretia says (in common), 'Well, dwarven, part werewolf.'.

You ponder the question.
You say (in common), 'can you Change?'.

Lucretia says (in common), 'You are right, just one of my struggles.'.
Lucretia says (in common), 'I do change.'.

You say (in common), 'what happens if you bite someone?'.

Lucretia says (in common), 'I'm sure they would receive the curse.'.

Samiyah carefully controls the urge to take a step back, murmuring something to herself in the desert tongue.
You ponder the question.

Lucretia says (in common), 'It’s a struggle at times. True werewolves, call it a blessing. I'm not a full blood, so I'm...'.
Lucretia says (in common), 'Not accepted by their terms. I don't wish to be with them though.'.

You say (in common), 'I know a few vampires...but you are the first werewolf I have met'.

Lucretia nods.

Samiyah unconsciously rubs a cleanly healed scar on her arm.

Lucretia says (in common), 'I think that is why DarkClaw and I got along so well.'.

Lucretia looks at you.

Samiyah checks the position of her veil with one hennaed hand.

Samiyah smooths an oddly out of place braid as if to draw comfort from it.

Lucretia being a healer glances at the healing wound.
Lucretia says (in common), 'Battle wounds?'.

Samiyah ducks her head and mumbles, "Ghazkull had not had ... he had not.. He had Thirst. And none of his people were helping."
Samiyah bites her lower lip, an odd flush of misery clear on her face.

Lucretia frowns.
Lucretia says (in common), 'I'm sorry to hear that.'.

Samiyah says softly, "It is complicated - I ... The Sahib was.. Is.. So angry when I help ghazkull.."

Lucretia says (in common), ‘I must go.’

You nod.

Hunger

(Log by DarkClaw)

Ghazkull gossips (in elven), 'Lady Cordir, If you are with us, may I speak with you a moment?'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'thanks'.

Cordir says, 'hello Heartbringer.'.

Ghazkull coughs.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I tried to feed last night'.

Cordir says, '... did you?'.
Cordir examines you closely.

Ghazkull staggers slightly.

Cordir says, 'Something tells me you were not successful'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I was startled by Samiyah not long after I had awoken, I had to leave'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I spoke with Star, she was not happy that I had not fed...'.

Cordir guides you over to one of the benches, kneeling next to you, one hand holding yours.

Ghazkull sits gratefully on the bench.
Ghazkull slumps slightly.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'She ordered me to feed and I resolved to once I had reached my next Ascension, I was so close. Sami spoke with me, also not happy that I had not fed'.

Ghazkull smirks at his own 'wisdom'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'it seems a lot of people are concerned about me'.
Ghazkull takes a laboured breath.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Sami offered to aid me, despite Seraph's wishes.'.

Cordir says, '..stop.'.
Cordir says, 'the story can wait.'.
Cordir says, 'Your Thirst cannot.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'you are correct... as always'.

Someone: Star?

DarkClaw: Yes...Cordir, I presume?

Cordir: please come here

A Midnight Garden

[Exits: south]
(Invis 70) (Intense Light Cyan Aura) Cordir is here.
(Dark Purple Aura) Ghazkull is here.
(White Aura) A distressingly large, shiny black spider weaves webs here.

You smile happily.

Ghazkull blinks.
Ghazkull bows before you.

Cordir says, 'You MUST feed, Ghazkull'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Star, I did not see you enter'.

Cordir says, 'Your thread is to the breaking point'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I know I must.'.

Cordir says, 'You have done yourself damage in waiting so long'.

You say, 'I told him that last night. I even stressed how important it was.'.

Ghazkull nods.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Last night... proved as much to me'.

Cordir tells you, '(ghaz on bench, cordir kneeling in front of him holding his hand)'.

Cordir examines Ghazkull's hand clasped in hers.
Cordir shakes her head.
Cordir says, 'What would Tamar think of this?'.
Cordir says, 'I swore to her to take care and watch over you.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'She would probably tell me the same thing, as you both and Samiyah have done'.

Cordir says, 'That you are in Star's service does not discharge my obligation'.

Cordir glances up at the vampiress.

Ghazkull swallows.

DarkClaw sighs and runs a hand over her face, her eyes shifting over Ghazkull's form, taking note of the pale, exposed parts of his skin.

Cordir says, 'Should I...?'.

Ghazkull looks up at Cordir, a look of fear in his eyes.

DarkClaw lifts her gaze to Cordir's quickly, a hint of alarm evident. "Cordir...you know what it did to me long ago."

Cordir turns over Her wrist, bearing the pulse.

Ghazkull stiffens.

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'He needs powerful blood or he ...'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I...'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I cannot!'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'you said yourself, you have no idea what it would do!'.

You say, 'I survived, Ghaz. It merely made me ill, though...we refrained from doing so again.'.

Cordir says, 'i say again: your Thread is damaged.'.

DarkClaw moves closer to stand next to Ghazkull, reaching down and turning his face toward hers. "Do you hear what she's saying, Ghaz?"
DarkClaw whispers, "You will die...if you don't."
DarkClaw continues, "Or worse."

Ghazkull says (in elven), '*weakly* I hear, I'm not sure I understand'.
Ghazkull blinks.
Ghazkull swallows.
Ghazkull coughs.
Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I understand'.

Cordir says, 'Star's or Mine - but you need blood with Power'.
Cordir sits down and thinks deeply.
Cordir says, 'Perhaps blending mortal and immortal as we did with the wards?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'wards?'.
Ghazkull coughs.

You say, 'That might be the best.'.

Cordir frowns with concern at the continued coughs.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'my death last night.... weakened me more than I thought'.

You say, 'Use mine. If not for me, and cursed Leareth, he would not be in this predicament in the first place.'.

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'That would be wisest - I don't know if Mine would interfere with your bond.'.

hazkull nods weakly.

You nod in recognition to her.

DarkClaw shifts partially, allowing one hand to change to that of her tiger form's, flicking a razor-sharp claw over her wrist and slicing it open.

Ghazkull stiffens at the sight and smell of the blood appearing on the wrist.

DarkClaw shifts her hand back and quickly places it below the other to catch the bleed-over, her eyes slowly lifting to Ghazkull's.

Cordir has summoned an exhausted, sleeping traveler!
Cordir gestures at the sleeping traveller.
Cordir says, 'They will not wake.'.
Cordir gestures and a bloodstained pair of scissors appears in her hand.

You say, 'It is time, Ghaz.'.

Cordir lifts the wrist of the traveler above Star's and carefully pierces the vein.
Blood drips down and adds to the pool in Star's cupped hand.

Ghazkull eyes the blood hungrily, lips parting slightly.

Ghazkull coughs.

Ghazkull grabs hold of DarkClaw's hand, slowly moving it towards his mouth.
Ghazkull drinks slowly, a few drops splashing on to the floor.
Ghazkull drains the blood from the cupped hand, eyes wide and ablaze.
DarkClaw watches Ghazkull intently, her own nostrils flaring at the heady scent of the traveller's blood.

Ghazkull looks over to the traveller, a hungry look in his eyes.

Cordir says, 'He will sleep and not wake.'.

Ghazkull's eyes move down to the wound on the travellers wrist.
Ghazkull moves quickly, grabbing the traveller and sinking his teeth into the exposed wrist.
Ghazkull's eyes close as a slight moan of ecstasy escapes him.

DarkClaw brings her own wrist up to her mouth, sealing the wound closed.

Ghazkull drains the last of the blood from the traveller, dropping the lifeless corpse on the floor, he slumps to the floor beside it, a faint smile on his face.
Ghazkull sleeps.

Cordir watches Ghazkull, not seeming to see the elf but rather the Thread.

DarkClaw murmurs, to Cordir, "Please tell me it is working."

Cordir nods.

Ghazkull wakes and stands up.

Cordir says, 'Yours is all that did it, I truly believe.'.

Ghazkull regains his feet, somewhat shakily.

Cordir says, 'He was too close to the brink for anything less.'.

Ghazkull blushes.

DarkClaw falters, her relief unable to be contained. "Thank Ybarra."

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I'm... sorry'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I should not have waited so long'.

DarkClaw slides her gaze over Ghazkull's features, noting the change in his skin's color and the lack of dullness in his eyes.

You say, 'I...cannot exactly scold you for that.'.

Cordir says, 'You have those that love you, Ghakzull.'.
Cordir says, 'Do not do that again.'.

Ghazkull shakes his head.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I will not'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'You... both of you, have always been there for me, when I have truly needed it'.
Ghazkull glances down at the floor, 'Lady, I appear to have spilled'

Cordir says, 'it is no matter.'.

Ghazkull glances at the Tapestry, 'my thread... will it heal?'

Cordir looks at the fledgeling for a long moment, then nods.
Cordir says, 'Do not go that long again. '.

Ghazkull shakes his head.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have accepted what I am'.

Her voice holds pain: "I have seen what a warped Thirst can do."

Ghazkull nods in recognition to Cordir.

Cordir nods.
Cordir says, 'Then I bid you to Hunt well.'.

Ghazkull bows deeply.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Thankyou, Star'.

You say, 'Don't. I don't deserve your thanks.'.

Cordir says, 'Be well, both of you'.

Ghazkull bows deeply.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Lady Cordir, if I may? before you go?'.

Cordir raises an eyebrow.

Cordir rises from where She knelt.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Lady Tamar granted me permission to visit her Refuge, would you be so kind as to take me there?'.

Cordir says, 'not at -this- moment'.

Ghazkull nods.

Cordir says, 'but another time, soon'.

Cordir looks around.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I understand, Thank you'.

DarkClaw glances at Cordir, her expression unreadable. "Thank you, Cordir."

Cordir says, 'why are you thanking me?'.

You say, 'For helping to convince him...and for the traveller.'.

Cordir says, 'If he had said no...'.
Cordir sits down and thinks deeply.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I would never say No'.

You say, 'I would have ordered him to do so.'.

Cordir says, 'I would have shoved My wrist onto his fangs.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I don't think I had ever refused completely'.

Cordir says, 'It isnt the first time I have dealt with a broken Thirst'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I just wasn't ready to come to terms with what I was'.

You nod in recognition to him.

Cordir holds Ghazkull's chin cupped in Her hand, holding His gaze.

Ghazkull returns the Ladys gaze, slight apprehension visible in his eyes.

Cordir says, 'You are loved. As you were. As you are.'.
Cordir says, 'There is nothing shameful or wrong in survival.'.
Cordir draws Ghazkull into a gentle, comforting embrace.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have no wish to become as weak as I was last night'.
Ghazkull smiles, slightly surprised.

Cordir releases you after a moment. "I forbid you to be so careless with your life again."

Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I will not'.

Cordir nods.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I know what I am, I have accepted it. I will feed as I require it.'.

Cordir says, '.. I am glad of it.'.

Ghazkull looks at the guardian spider.

Cordir says, 'I must go.'.

Ghazkull nods.

Cordir says, 'be safe and well.'.

Ghazkull disappears in a mushroom cloud.

The Conference

(Log by DarkClaw)

Ghazkull arrives from the west.
Ghazkull smiles at you.

You smile at him.

DarkClaw wraps you up in her arms, though a bit awkwardly.

Ghazkull stops using a black rose.
Ghazkull wields a light mace in the off-hand.
Ghazkull puts a black rose in a water-stained book.
Ghazkull puts a horse's ear in a saddlebag.

You blink at what he said.
You say, 'What is the horse's ear?'.

Ghazkull shakes his head.
Ghazkull laughs.
Ghazkull shrugs.

You laugh.

Ghazkull gets a horse's ear from a saddlebag.

You say, 'ID it, silly.'.

Ghazkull utters the words, 'identify'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'cure poison pill'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'which explains why Sami gave it to me last night'.

You say, 'Interesting.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'she took me to a place in the dark forest with some witches'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and there was a Cauldron of Blood'.

You say, 'I know of the place.'.
You say, 'They seek ingredients for their brew.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'she drank from the cauldron first of all and it poisoned her'.

You say, 'SAMI DID?!?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'she wasn't sure if the cauldron would be of use to me'.

You blink at what he said.

Ghazkull nods.

You say, 'Why would she drink blood?!'.

Ghazkull shrugs.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'who knows what goes through her mind half the time'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'why did she defy Seraph's wishes and try to aid me in the first place?'.

DarkClaw frowns, her features considerably disturbed."I...need to talk to Seraph."

DarkClaw: Seraph...a moment?

Seraph: come

DarkClaw: I have a concern I would like to address.

DarkClaw: Could you by chance come to me?

You say, 'That...I don't know.'.

Seraph appears before you.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I would ask that you wait to speak to Sami first, I wouldn't like you to speak to Seraph and find out that he doesn't know she tried to help me'.

You say, 'Except perhaps because of the bond.'.
You nod in recognition to him.

Ghazkull blinks.

You say, 'Too late...my apologies.'.

Ghazkull snickers softly.

Seraph steps out of the shadows.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Seraph, if I may have a moment?'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'before you speak to DarkClaw?'.

Seraph says, 'speak'.

Ghazkull nods.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Sami helped me last night because I was incredibly weak, in doing so, I ended up dying. Please, if I may ask, do not be too harsh on her'.

DarkClaw shoots an apologizing look to Seraph.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'that is all'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I shall take my leave'.
Ghazkull bows deeply.
Ghazkull leaves west.

DarkClaw sighs again, looking deeply troubled."As you gathered, it's about Sami."

Seraph says, 'it is'.

Ghazkull prays, 'I shall remain in the guild, if you require me in temple, let me know'.

Seraph says, 'asks, then runs away'.

You say, 'It is no secret that I am rather fond of her.'.

Seraph nods.

Seraph says, 'still - who asks a person of something then runs away?'.

You say, 'It was not him who had the asking to do, but me.'.

Seraph looks at you.

You say, 'I am rather concerned. Ghazkull informed me that she...drank blood.'.
You say, 'Out of the witches' cauldron in the Forest of Fear.'.

Seraph sits down and thinks deeply.

You say, 'I want to know why...and if there is any REAL reason to be worried about it.'.

Seraph says, 'my laws have been laid down yet she.....'.

You say, 'It...poisoned her.'.

Seraph says, 'i do not know why'.
Seraph says, 'she seems to have a fondness for your lost'.

DarkClaw closes her eyes briefly, gathering her words."Just...Ghazkull...but that is nothing she can help."

You say, 'She is bound to him, through the blood bond.'.

Seraph says, 'dont forget yourself Star'.

You raise your eyebrow at him.

You say, 'She hasn't been so fond of me as of late.'.

You tell Ghazkull, 'I'm sorry. I didn't think it was something I should wait on.I'm worried for her.'.

Seraph says, 'as for me going easy on her she has already been punished'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), 'we both are'.

Seraph says, 'im sure you will recieve more flowers and cards'.

You say, 'With all due respect...I fear sometimes that she is losing her mind.I am more concerned with that than anything as trivial as flowers or cards.'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), 'I am at Temple Courtyard'.

You tell Ghazkull, '*nod*Seraph and I are still speaking.'.

Seraph says, 'what are you asking me to do?'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), 'nodnod'.

Seraph says, 'im sure she will seek out your guidence'.

DarkClaw half-growls and rakes a hand over her face in frustration. “I’m not sure. Hearing that she drank from the cauldron really caught me off-guard."

You say, 'She should have no desire for blood.'.
You say, 'That is NOT part of the bonding.'.

Seraph says, 'well, maybe you have a bigger impact on her then i do'.
Seraph says, 'i will speak to her'.

DarkClaw rolls her eyes and scowls, "Impossible. Have you not witnessed how much you've changed her?"

Seraph says, 'do not blame me for HER choices'.
Seraph walks towards the shadows.

You say, 'My statement held no blame. It was only a response to me having a bigger impact.'.

Seraph says, 'as i stated earlier i will talk with her'.

You say, 'Thank you.'.

DarkClaw lowers her head in a gesture of respect.

Seraph says, 'oh and next time, Star - ask me - do not get a young one to'.
Seraph steps into the shadows.

You say, 'What do you mean?I DID ask you.'.

You growl. Grrrrrrrrrr...

Seraph disappears instantly.

You ftell, '*growls*'.
You ftell, 'We are done.'.

Ghazkull arrives from the west.
Ghazkull slinks back into the room.

DarkClaw shouts, "He is IMPOSSIBLE!"

You say, 'Sometimes I just want to strangle him. And I am NOT a violent person.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I um, I feel really bad'.

You say, 'Usually.'.

DarkClaw shakes her head quickly and meets your gaze."

You say, 'You have nothing to apologize for, Ghaz.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I feel like I do, to Samiyah in particular'.

You say, 'As I told the Fallen One, she should have no desire for blood. It is NOT part of the bond.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I think she did it to show me what I should do, I was borderline delirious at
the time. It poisoned her and she ate one of the horses ears to cure herself'.

DarkClaw murmurs, "You should have told me that at the start. I had no idea you were not in your right
frame of mind."

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I tried to tell Cordir earlier, she said it could wait but my Thirst could
not'.

You nod in recognition to him.

You say, 'She was right in saying that.'.

You say, 'I fear I may have gotten Samiyah in trouble.'.

You sigh.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I felt myself losing control and asked her to leave the room'.

You say, 'The Fallen One stated that she seems to be fond of my Lost.'.

You say, 'I told him only you, but that was not her fault. It was due to the bond.'.

Ghazkull snickers softly.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'well, we are adorable'.

You smirk at his saying.
You say, 'We are, but that's beside the point.'.
You wink suggestively at Ghazkull.

Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I certainly seem to be one of the few she will ah... interact with'.

You nod in recognition to him.
You say, 'Certainly not Belg.'.

DarkClaw sighs heavily.

Ghazkull rolls his eyes.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'kick him into touch'.
Ghazkull chuckles, evidently amused.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I jest'.

You say, 'They are BOTH way too stubborn.'.
You say, 'Neither one of them will give an inch.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I still don't understand what caused him to attack her'.

You say, 'Honestly? I’ve forgotten. It was something he took as an insult to me.'.

###Belgarion:Entered Game

Ghazkull nods.

You ftell, 'Hi, love.'.

Belgarion ftells, 'hey babe how are you'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'speak of the devil'.
Ghazkull ftells, '*snicker*'.

You ftell, 'Better, now that you're here.*grin*You?'.

Belgarion ftells, 'everyone is calling me the devil lately'.

You ftell, 'LOL'.

Ghazkull ftells, 'well you are the Foul Betrayer'.

Belgarion ftells, 'lol'.

Belgarion ftells, 'true'.

Belgarion ftells, 'I now have another bloodridden scroll'.

You ftell, '*grumble*How many ARE there?'.

Belgarion ftells, 'i have 3 now'.

You ftell, 'Yes, but there still could be more out there.'.

Belgarion ftells, 'i am locating now'.

Belgarion ftells, 'theres 1 more i am locating right now'.

You ftell, '*sigh*'.

Belgarion arrives from the west.

Belgarion sleeps.

You ftell, '*raises a brow at the sleeping Belgarion*'.

Belgarion wakes and stands up.

Belgarion hugs you.

You hug him.

Belgarion gives you a long and passionate kiss.

You give Belgarion a long and passionate kiss.

Belgarion sleeps.

Belgarion ftells, 'HEH'.

You ftell, '*grin*'.

You ftell, 'It's part of your duties!;-)'.

Ghazkull tries to look like a statue.

You ftell, 'Read the fine print next time.'.

Belgarion ftells, 'lol'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'was Seraph angry?'.

Belgarion ftells, 'hrm'.

You say, 'No, just...short'.
You say, '*short'.

Ghazkull nods.

Belgarion wakes and stands up.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I was kinda hoping that the fact that I died would make him less rough on her'.

You say, 'I wouldn't count on that.'.

You grumble.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I know'.

Belgarion leaves west.

DarkClaw: Welcome back.

Ghazkull prays, 'umm.... the _tiger_ knew him!?'.

Seraph: thanks

Ghazkull prays, 'think I put the emphasis on the wrong word there but meh, you get my meaning'.

You tell Ghazkull, 'Yes, of course. Were you not aware of my animal form?'.

Seraph: Star can you bring ghazkull to my hall?

You tell Ghazkull, 'Look at the mural.'.

You tell Ghazkull, 'Ghaz...Seraph seeks an audience with us.'.

Ghazkull blinks.

The Hall of the High Order

[Exits: north]
(Blue Aura) A hand-lettered open book rests upon a black iron pedestal.
(Invis 71) (Intense Dark Blue Aura) Seraph is here.

Ghazkull arrives suddenly.

Seraph taps his fingers on the arm of his throne.

Ghazkull blinks.

Seraph says, 'welcome to my hall Ghaz'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Thankyou Lord Seraph'.

Seraph says, 'so little vampire did you see Samiyah drink the blood?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I was bordeline delirious at the time, but I seem to recall it'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I had not fed since my change'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I was incredibly weak'.

Seraph says, 'so you are not sure then?'.

Ghazkull closes his eyes, trying to recollect the events of the previous night.

DarkClaw lets her gaze trail over Ghazkull's features slowly.

Ghazkull says softly, 'there were witches around a cauldron, Sami had led me there out of concern that I hadn't fed'

Ghazkull says softly, 'she took my cup, emptied it on the ground and filled it with Blood from the cauldron'

Seraph taps his fingers on the arm of his throne.

Ghazkull says softly, 'I was starting to get very dizzy, I believe she drank the blood as if to show me what I should do'

Seraph nods slowly.

Ghazkull says softly, 'it poisoned her, so she ate something to relieve the poison'
Ghazkull says softly, 'I nearly lost control and asked her to leave'

Seraph nods slowly.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I did not ask her to help, I would not have asked her, I know of your 'distaste' for us'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and I have no wish for you to be angry with her'.

DarkClaw rests a comforting hand on Ghazkull's back.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'but that is not my decision'.

Seraph says, 'what i do with her is not your concern'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'it is'.

Seraph raises an eyebrow.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'although I have no say in it'.

Seraph says, 'let me state that again'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'anything that happens to Sami, from now to eternity, is of some cause for my concern'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'because of what she did for me'.

DarkClaw whispers, "Easy, Ghaz."

Seraph leans forwards in his throne, looking Ghazkull dead in his eyes.
Seraph whispers: As I stated: what I do to her is not your concern.

Ghazkull stares back at the empty air, a determined look in his eyes.

Seraph whispers: you belong to Star so your concerns or opinions matter not to me.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Say what you will, I will be concerned about whom I wish to be concerned about. What you do to her is up to you'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'but you will NOT tell me who I will or will not be concerned about'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'that right belongs to Star, and Star alone'.

DarkClaw applies more pressure to Ghazkull's back in warning and hisses.

shadows start to take over the room

Ghazkull prays, 'i'm only making a point, reiterating his very own point in fact.'.

You tell Ghazkull, 'I know, but...it's not wise to talk back to an Immortal, regardless.'.

Seraph hisses i invite you in my hall and you disrespect me.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'that depends on how you see it.'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have simply spoken my mind'.

shadows totally engulf the room

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'if any disrespect has been caused, it was not intended'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'If you command me not to be concerned, then I am obliged, by the laws of the
realm to obey the command'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'as difficult as that may be'.

Seraph says, 'your choice'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'then, if it is indeed my choice.'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'then I choose to be concerned for her.'.

Seraph says, 'but she has broken my laws'.
Seraph says, 'and will pay so for doing it'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and you will punish her as you see fit.'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and I completely respect your wishes in that matter'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I would expect the same of DarkClaw'.

DarkClaw sighs softly and closes her eyes.

Seraph takes a deep breath as the shadows fade away.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Had I broken one of her laws, I would accept her punishment'.
Ghazkull stops using a light mace.
Ghazkull gets a black rose from a water-stained book.
Ghazkull holds a black rose in his hands.
Ghazkull lifts the rose to his nose, breathing deeply, relaxing a little.

DarkClaw looks to Seraph and nods once, "Anything else we need to address?"

Ghazkull prays, 'hopefully I saved that'.

You tell Ghazkull, 'I believe so.'.

Seraph says, 'yes, Star, Ghazkull can leave'.

You tell Ghazkull, 'He seemed to calm.'.

Ghazkull bows deeply.

Ghazkull leaves north.

DarkClaw takes note of Ghazkull being singled out.

Seraph says, 'it seems Samiyah and Ghazkull have a bond that you won't break'.
Seraph says, 'it also seems that Samiyah isnt happy here or Ghazkull with you'.

You say, 'Bonds of blood cannot be broken.'.
You say, 'But, even if I could, I would not.'.
You say, 'They are sacred. Part of who we are.'.

Seraph says, 'as far as i hear'.

DarkClaw whispers, "So it would seem."

Seraph says, 'then old friend new enemy what shall we do?'.

DarkClaw raises a brow, her features unreadable. “What is there TO do? In truth, it is I who am to blame."

Seraph says, 'you Star to blame?'.

DarkClaw nods slowly, unable to contain a very slight wince.

Seraph says, 'i do not blame you for their choices'.

You say, 'Do you know why it is that Ghazkull was embraced?'.

Seraph says, 'Because of you, yes'.
Seraph says, 'you changed him'.

DarkClaw sighs, "It is more complicated than that."

You say, 'I would NEVER have done so had I thought there was another option at the time.'.

Seraph says, 'i believe you'.
Seraph says, 'in a moment like that, you think quick'.

You nod in recognition to him.

Seraph says, 'that’s why the blame does not belong to you'.

You say, 'It does. I should've thought of some other way.'.

Seraph says, 'both of them choise to do what they have done after'.

Seraph taps his fingers on the arm of his throne.

DarkClaw inclines her head. “True enough."

Seraph says, 'Star you did what you thought was right at the time'.
Seraph says, 'i would have pulled his soul to repair him '.
Seraph says, 'that’s where we are different and my choice would have probably had a effect somehow'.

DarkClaw blinks at your words, surprise clear in her features.

You say, 'It seems we both would've made a drastic error, then.'.
You say, 'Or at least a possible one.'.

Seraph nods.
Seraph says, 'that’s why i don’t blame you'.

You say, 'I cannot stop blaming myself.'.

Seraph says, 'we are immortals we do what we think is right at any given moment'.

You nod in recognition to him.

Seraph says, 'but Samiyah gave her blood and Ghazkull accepted it'.
Seraph says, 'that Star is not our choice'.

You say, 'So you...truly feel everything you are doing with Sami...is what you think is right?'.

Seraph nods towards you.
Seraph says, 'of course i do'.

You say, 'I miss seeing her happy. She seems so confused and full of fear now.'.

Seraph says, 'everything i do serves a purpose'.
Seraph says, 'when she was younger Star she trusted everyone. She did not know how people are'.

You say, '...She did.'.

Seraph says, 'i taught her how to see people and choices have a effect on things around you'.

You say, 'And I concur, that's not very wise on her part.'.

Seraph says, 'I’m trying to teach her to be brave no matter what the task or who stands before you'.

You nod in recognition to him.

You say, 'She is learning.'.

Seraph says, 'yes she is having trouble understanding because she still wants to believes everything is good, that people cause no harm'.

DarkClaw murmurs thoughtfully, "Perhaps."

Seraph says, 'if lord tynian took me away tomorrow and left her alone i want to make sure she is wise and safe'.

DarkClaw shifts her gaze around the hall, then back to you somewhat awkwardly. “I...didn't and still don't agree with your methods, but..."

You say, 'If you truly have her best interest at heart...then I owe you an...apology.'.

Seraph says, 'You made a vampire. I would have taken his soul'.
Seraph says, 'we are different'.

You nod in recognition to him.

Seraph says, 'as i stated everything i do has a purpose'.

### Samiyah:Entered Game

Seraph says, 'so back to my question what should we do about them'.

Samiyah arrives from the north.
Samiyah blinks.
Samiyah leaves north.

DarkClaw looks a bit troubled, noticing Samiyah's presence.

Seraph says, 'bring the vampire star'.

You say, 'Ghazkull has already been confronted by Cordir.'.

Seraph smirks.

You say, '(He has to go in a moment.)'.

Seraph says, 'cordir....'.

Seraph says, 'Star do not take offence to this statement'.
Seraph says, 'but if the vampire wants to be with Samiyah i will take him'.
Seraph says, 'i know Samiyah will not leave'.

DarkClaw's eyes narrow and she stiffens noticeably. “That is not for us to decide. It is his choice alone."

Seraph says, 'true you can talk it over with him'.
Seraph says, 'think about it Star'.
Seraph says, 'i will talk with you soon'.

DarkClaw nods and gathers the mists about her to depart.

You say (in common), 'And that I told him the way to find some - walking ahead, but not grouped. I showed him the place, and made sure that the cauldron had not changed. It was blood, and it was disgusting. It poisoned me.'.

Seraph taps his fingers on the arm of his throne.

Seraph says, ‘I have told DarkClaw that if the little vampire wants to come to me to be near you I would take him'.

You blink.
You say (in common), 'What did she say?'.

Seraph says, 'she said it is his choice'.

You ftell, 'hi chico!'.
Chico ftells, 'Hello'.
Chico ftells, 'Yo!'.
Seraph ftells, 'hello chico'.

You ftell, 'Chico, I am commanded by the sahib to ask some questions of all members.'.
You ftell, 'please know that is the source of these questions.'.

Chico ftells, 'ok'.

You ftell, 'Do you feel that His rules are too restrictive and need to be loosened?'.

Chico ftells, 'No'.

You ftell, 'do you want constraints about travelling and working with evils to be changed?'.

Chico ftells, 'I may have to plead ignorance.'.
Chico ftells, 'Not 100 percent sure what the rules are, sad to say'.

Seraph ftells, 'chico come to the hall'.

You ftell, 'we are not permitted to group with evils, if we trade with them, we must be ahead on the deal'.
You ftell, 'so they do not gain an advantage'.

Ungraceful Recruitment

(Log by Sami)

You tell Ghazkull (in common), '*softly* I am bid to speak to you of an... an odd matter.'.

You tell Ghazkull (in common), 'Do you have a moment?'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), 'of course, where would you have me meet you?'.

You tell Ghazkull (in common), 'the amphitheater?'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), 'I shall be there momentarily'.
Ghazkull arrives from the west.
Ghazkull bows deeply.

Samiyah touches her hand to her forehead, her lips, and her heart in a tribal gesture of respect.

>l Ghazkull

You say (in common), '.. are you... well?'.

Ghazkull nods.

Samiyah bites her lower lip hesitantly, looking you over.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'with thanks to The Lady DarkClaw, and the Lady Cordir'.

You say (in common), 'You don't look quite as dreadful.'.
Samiyah claps her hands over her mouth, blushing. 'I mean..'
Samiyah blushes, ducking her head and concealing her face in one of the layers of her veil.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and yourself, for showing me how weak I truly was'.
Ghazkull smiles happily.

You say (in common), 'I am bid to speak to you about.. well.. If you are happy within the Lost.'.

Ghazkull blinks.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'that seems a... strange question to ask'.

Samiyah nods, again chewing on her lower lip.

Ghazkull sits down and thinks deeply.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'am I happy here?'.

You nod.

Ghazkull sits down and thinks deeply.

Seraph ftells, 'come to the hall and bring kahann with you sirka'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'what is happiness? My Wife, Evelyne, no longer walks the realm.’.
Ghazkull idly toys with a peridot gem in a fold of his clothing.

You say (in common), 'Is that her spirit? Sahib has souls in gems.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Spirit? I'm not sure, maybe in a way. It was something she gave me once - the only physical memory of her I have'.

You say (in common), 'Oh. Sahib's are.. well.. actual.. souls. spirits.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'you could argue that it does contain a part of her spirit, as I remember her with it but not in the way that Seraph would mean'.

You nod.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'but back to your question.'.

Samiyah shifts uncomfortably. 'I know it is an odd one. and an intrusive one.'

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'my wife, is no longer with us, the two goddesses that I pledged my service to, have both Ascended to higher purposes so I am in a way, 'truly' lost. Or do you refer to 'alignment'?'.

You ponder the question.
You say (in common), 'no, not so much. I have.. felt... and expressed...'.
Samiyah gnaws on her lower lip, trying to find the right word. '..concern...'
You say (in common), 'with how you were being treated. or not treated... by those you call brothers and sisters.. from an outside perspective.. I worry about you.'.

Ghazkull nods.

You say (in common), 'That you had Thirst for so long, and no one tended to you until I did. That you did not feed for so long, after turning.. It just ... worried me. So I broke Sahib's law, and helped..'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'it was not for people not trying'.

You say (in common), 'For which, I am in disgrace.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I know. I spoke with the Sahib'.

You blink.
You blink.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I mean, Seraph'.

You say (in common), '... why would you do that?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'he requested my Presence'.

You blink.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Star asked me what happened last night, and why I seemed a lot weaker than when she left me. So I explained what happened'.

You say (in common), '.. I should not have left you alone.'.

Ghazkull shrugs, 'I asked you to. I was fearful of what I might do. And what you might have been forced to do in response'.

You say (in common), 'You couldn't really hurt me, Ghaz..'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I wasn't in my right mind, I was borderline delirious. But no matter. When I told Star what happened, she called Seraph to her Temple. I spoke with him briefly and left. A short while later, he requested Star and myself present ourselves in his temple. I think I angered him'.

You blink.
You say (in common), 'what happened?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'he told me that you had broken his Laws by helping me, and that your punishment was no concern of mine. I told him that I would be concerned about you, that I worshipped DarkClaw and only she would tell me who I would or would not be concerned about. He got angry, and accused me of disrespecting Him. I apologized and said that I meant no disrespect, I was just speaking my mind. He told me it was my choice, so I chose to be concerned for you'.

Samiyah asks hesitantly, '.. do you think that I am not taken care of, or that I am abused or mistreated by the Sahib?'

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I do not know what to think, in all honesty'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'abused?'.
Ghazkull shakes his head.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'mistreated?'.
Ghazkull shakes his head.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'manipulated?'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'maybe'.

You say (in common), '.. in what way?'.
You say (in common), 'people say that all the time, but they can never tell me how they think it is happening'.

Ghazkull sits down and thinks deeply.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I don't know'.
Ghazkull smirks.

You say (in common), 'See? No one can ever say! It isn't that he's .. its.. It's me. I am very bad at following rules and I upset him. It's not his fault -- I make him angry. I disobey... sometimes I mean to, and sometimes I don't... Like giving someone directions and then realizing I shouldn't.. and sometimes... I give blood to vampires.'.

Ghazkull smiles happily.

You say (in common), 'It is very hard for Him to guide such an unbiddable and disobedient daughter'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'it must have been hard for you'.

You say (in common), 'what must have?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'to go from being the bard that would help anybody, to suddenly not be allowed to'.

Her face crumples into sorrow, and she quickly turns away so you cannot see.

Ghazkull kneels down beside the bard, a look of concern on his face, 'Sami?, I apologize if I spoke out of turn'

You say (in common), '..no.. you spoke the truth. It is VERY hard. But I owe him so much.. He has given me everything, been there my whole life...I owe it to Him to try harder.’.
Samiyah adds softly, '.. but I am very lonely and I miss my friends.'

Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull comforts you.
Ghazkull steps back, realizing what he just did.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I'm sorry'.

Samiyah is so wrapped up in misery, she doesn't seem to have noticed the touch.
You say (in common), '.. I think that's maybe why the Sahib wanted me to ask if you were happy in Lost.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Seraph... asked you to ask me?'.

You nod.
You say (in common), 'I think He knows I am lonely and sad, and wanted me to.. to.. have... the chance to ask a friend.'.

Ghazkull blinks.

You say (in common), 'I asked Tross, but .. He scared he..him.. too much. And if you were NOT happy, then... He would welcome you.. but I don't think you are... unhappy... and I don't think you would be able to say good bye to Evie and your other friends.'.

Samiyah fidgets, toying with the fringed edge of one long end of her veil.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I'm not... Unhappy. I love DarkClaw as a Sister and a best friend, she risked her life for me.'.

You nod.
You say (in common), 'The Sayyida can be very kind..'.
Samiyah adds quietly in a murmur, 'And very cold.'

Ghazkull says softly, 'She helped me today'

Samiyah glances over at you and nods. 'You look ... well... You DON'T look like week old goat on a plate that's sat in the sun too long any more.

Ghazkull laughs.

You say (in common), 'I thought I was going to have to pick you up and carry you, and then there'd be biting, and friends don't bite friends, and..'.

Ghazkull laughs.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'you did... in a way'.

You say (in common), 'No, evie did that part'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'ah'.

Samiyah tilts her head listening for a moment.
Samiyah visibly wilts, as something she hopes for, is not said.

Ghazkull blinks.

Samiyah sighs softly.
Samiyah fidgets, toying with the fringed edge of one long end of her veil.
Samiyah blushes self-consciously.

Ghazkull looks at you.

You say (in common), '.. Sahib was giving praise to someone for something they did. I was hoping he might acknowledge that I had gained a very, very hard mob mastery, and mobhunts, while being hunted.. but he didn't.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I'm sorry'.

You shrug.
You say (in common), 'it's okay. He's busy, you see..it's not his fault. It's my insecurity.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'well, if it's worth anything, I am pleased you have avoided the hunt for so long'.

You smile happily.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and as for my friends in the Lost: Yes, I would miss them terribly'.

You nod.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'just as i'm sure you would miss your new brothers and sisters of the High Order, if you left'.

Samiyah says carefully, 'There are some I would miss.'

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'If I may ask, what was your punishment?'.

You say (in common), 'Have you ever been struck by an Immortal rift?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'once, a LONG time ago, by the Lord of the Arcanes'.
Ghazkull nods.

You say (in common), 'it hurts.. _almost_ as much as knowing I disappointed Him... *again*. I experienced both. I once said that Sahib is like a desert storm. I witnessed that storm.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have only travelled the desert a few times, I must have been lucky to miss a storm'.

You say (in common), 'they can scour the flesh from your bones and fill your lungs with sand.'.

Ghazkull sits down on one of the benches.

You say (in common), '... it seems like my blood doesn't bother you anymore. I just noticed that. Sometimes I am not very observant.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'it... does still, but I have recently fed. I am aware of it'.

You say (in common), 'is it an unpleasant and horrible awareness?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'it's difficult to explain'.
Ghazkull sits down and thinks deeply.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'how to explain it.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'have you ever eaten something that has given you so much pleasure that you could quite happily eat it all day, every day?'.

Samiyah wrinkles her brow in thought.
You say (in common), '.. no...'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'maybe that wasn't the best analogy'.

You say (in common), '.. are you saying I am a living pastry? Because Tross eats them constantly every day'.

Ghazkull shakes his head.
Ghazkull laughs.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have met Tross. He asked me for an id and then refused to give me the item until I accepted a cookie from him in return'.

You giggle.
You say (in common), 'He comes from a place where people are not simply nice to one another without some sort of obligation or hidden want'.

Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'okay, imagine something that you want more than anything in the world. You don't have to tell me what it is - unless you want to'.

Samiyah says softly, 'Feel my mother's arms around me again.'

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'now imagine it was given to you for a small amount of time, and then snatched away from you'.

Tears well up in her dark eyes.
You say (in common), 'Oh!! I am SO SORRY!!! I didn't ... I didn't know..'.
Sami flees.

The Hall of the High Order
[Exits: north]
(Blue Aura) A hand-lettered open book rests upon a black iron pedestal.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), '*softly* come back, please'.

You tell Ghazkull (in common), 'No! I don't want to ever do that to you again! I will stay away. I promise.'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), '*softly* it's okay, honestly.'.

You tell Ghazkull (in common), '*resolutely* .. I will stay away. I will not do that to a friend.'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), '*softly* it might have been a bad analogy once again, tasting your blood was one of the most exquisite tastes I have _ever_ tasted'.

You tell Ghazkull (in common), 'well, it _can't_ have been! You threw it up all over the kitchen floor like it was poison!'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), '*softly* I didn't throw it all up, my body wasn't quite ready at that point for the amount I consumed'.

You tell Ghazkull (in common), '.. oh. Well.. anyway... if that is what it feels like.. I'm still going to stay away and not do that to you.'.

Ghazkull tells you (in elven), '*softly* it was a bad analogy'.
Ghazkull tells you (in elven), '*softly* come back'.

The Storytelling Amphitheater
[Exits: west]
(Hide) (Dark Purple Aura) Ghazkull is here.

Samiyah hesitates at the foyer.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'please'.
Ghazkull gestures next to him on the bench.

Samiyah pauses, looking at you intently for any sign of distress.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I am fine'.

Samiyah moves over to the bench, sitting a bit further away than you indicated.

Ghazkull smiles happily.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Thank you'.

Samiyah wrinkles her brow in thought.
You say (in common), '.. I keep thinking of you as young, but you aren't, are you? You just... really look that way.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'when I first walked the realm, Lady Tamar and Lord Elladan were newly promoted Ambassadors'.

You say (in common), '... oh...'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'after the event of the Tower and Leareth'.
Ghazkull shudders from the sheer thought of it.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I had lost a lot of skills, I used to be a thief as well as my Ranger and Mage classes. This was the 'lost' knowledge that Star and myself spoke of the last time we were in this place. When Star rescued me from the Tower and gave me her blood, I must have taken on some of the qualities of a Vampire, such as the agelessness'.

Samiyah nods thoughtfully.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'but there was nothing that she could do, to return the knowledge taken by Leareth'.

Samiyah nods, sympathizing.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'it's tough, knowing that I used to be able to do things but can't, although it's a physical limitation, rather than an immortal imposed limitation, so I do know how you feel in a way'.

Samiyah nods, her mind turning back to sad things.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'is this room safe?'.

You nod.
You say (in common), 'yes'.

Belgarion arrives from the west.

Ghazkull gives the grim rock crystal amulet to Belgarion.

Belgarion bows deeply.
Belgarion leaves west.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I am NOT your packhorse'.

Samiyah glances at Belgarion, then nods in acknowledgement.

Ghazkull rolls his eyes.
Ghazkull blinks.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'he gave me that to hold earlier for some reason'.

You nod.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'but anyway'.

You say (in common), 'what surprised you?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'surprised me?'.

You say (in common), 'you blinked.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I didn't want to say anything. I noticed that you acknowledged Belgarion, was all'.

Samiyah looks uncomfortable, but nods.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I know that must have been hard for you'.

You say (in common), '..I do not like the way that hating makes my heart feel.'.
Samiyah cups one hand over her heart.
You say (in common), 'so.. I sent a note to the Sayyida, with an apology.. I am not quite there yet with him..'.
Samiyah gestures at the departed.
You say (in common), 'but.. I am trying hard to not be rude anymore.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'she told me that you had apologized to each other'.
Ghazkull nods.

You say (in common), '... even if he's still trying to kill me, and he .. he...'.
Samiyah spits out the word with obvious upset and distress, rather than anger: TICKLED me.

Ghazkull smirks slightly to himself.

Samiyah looks at you with seriousness. 'Such things are forbidden, Ghazkull...'

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I know'.

You say (in common), 'It is.. it is a violation of .. of my person, and my dignity, and my beliefs'.
You say (in common), 'to be touched in such a way by a stranger, or an enemy, or even a friend.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'the image just made me laugh slightly, hence why I only slightly smirked'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I did not mean to cause offense'.

You say (in common), 'it's just..'.
You say (in common), 'there has been a great deal of talk about people getting to kill me and then DOING THINGS ...'.
Samiyah shudders uncontrollably, tears sparking up in her eye again.

Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have heard rumours'.

You say (in common), 'It is the *greatest possible offense* '.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'but I do not know the facts'.

You say (in common), 'it is .. it.. Aoide used a word: Abomination. It is Abomination, what they want to do.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'what DO they want to do?'.

You say (in common), ' To have my.. my person-ness.. my skin and bone.. _naked_ ... before someone's eyes.. touched and handled and chopped up and used in an Alchemy...'.

Ghazkull gasps in astonishment.

Samiyah bursts into tears of horror and disgust, pressing one hand to her mouth to hold back the bile.

You say (in common), '... if it had only been blood... that I can endure! I tried, even though Sahib had said no. They wouldn't take it... I begged one of them to do it.. But Wish will not relent. He wants my flesh and HE CANNOT HAVE IT!'.

Samiyah rises to her feet, shouting, without even realizing it.

Ghazkull blinks.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'then keep doing what you have been doing'.

Samiyah sinks back down to the bench, whispering, 'I am one. They are .. many.'

Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'true'.

You say (in common), '.. and I can only run so long.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'they only need to be lucky once'.

You nod.

You say (in common), 'Eathor nearly was, earlier tonight. Sagan, two days prior. Teva, a week ago.'.

Ghazkull blinks.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and you have avoided them so far'.

You nod.
You say (in common), 'so far, But.. My Sahib has commanded me to show no fear. Not to hide away. To go forth and gain my last level'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'running does not constitute fear'.

You say (in common), 'So I must stay out and about, where I can be tracked and found and caught..'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'running shows intelligence that you are not prepared for an encounter'.

You say (in common), 'when all I want to do is curl up and hide in front of the fire in the Hall.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'the fact that you have been mobhunting and MobMastering while still being hunted, to me, shows Courage'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and also shows your foes that you are not afraid of them'.

You say (in common), '... I'm not brave or courageous.. I am trying to be obedient. And they know I am afraid. I have told them. I could not stop shaking when Sagan and I were talking. And when I realized that Eathor ...'.
You shiver. Brrrrrrrrr.
You say (in common), 'I used up my spells. I can't see him any more.'.

Ghazkull ponders the situation.

You say (in common), 'They will keep hunting. And I will keep running. But I don't know how much longer I can last.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and you will keep evading them! What do they require from you exactly?'.

You say (in common), 'The Hunters? or Wish?'.
You say (in common), 'Belgarion hunts because he hates me.'.

Ghazkull sits down and thinks deeply.

You say (in common), 'The Hunters hunt because the Sahib gave grave offense to their Wyldess and it is abomination. Teva hunts because Wish commanded him to get my ... (her voice goes thin and distressed).. flesh and blood. For his Alchemy.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Blood, I can possibly help with, if the Lord Alchemist was able to distill your blood from mine'.

You say (in common), '...I told them that, and they didn't care. They are going to use some horrible scrolls that were found'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I know of the scrolls'.

You say (in common), 'I don't know where they came from, or how someone got my blood -- Sahib wondered if you had made them'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'He...?'.

You say (in common), 'I just know that they are bad - Belgarion told me so, when Cresom brought me to the Sayyida one night. They said I mustn't touch them, that they were dangerous... I don't remember very well - I had not slept, because I was waiting to help you, and because of the dreams.. I was a little delirious, I think.'.

Ghazkull nods.

You say (in common), 'Sahib knew you had my blood, and we could not tell how it got on the scrolls. I don’t think he really thought you had done it. They are some evil purpose, but I do not know much about them. They did not want to talk about it in front of me, very much. I just .. remember crying, because I was afraid, and Cresom made me go with him there. I was so tired and afraid..'.
Samiyah goes quiet, remembering, fidgeting with her veil.

Ghazkull removes the peridot from the fold of his cloak, 'I would swear on this, that I had nothing to do with the scrolls'

Samiyah blinks, but nods in acknowledgement. 'I will tell the Sahib.'

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I remember when the first scroll was found. Not long after I had changed, Belgarion nearly passed it to me in with a lot of other scrolls'.

You feel a hand cup your cheek, and hear the Lady's voice: "Gone from my service, yes. Never forgotten, Heartbringer. Be well."

Ghazkull blinks.

You say (in common), 'who was that?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Lady Cordir'.
Ghazkull bows deeply.

Samiyah rises, glancing around.
You blink.
Samiyah sits back down with a bit of a thump. 'Well. For one who is supposed to be patroness of bards... I sure got ignored...'

Ghazkull smiles happily at the touch.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I am one of the few remaining of her Chosen, she watches over me, even now'.

You say (in common), '.. oh. Well. That makes a bit of sense. So you have two goddesses? Like Aoide?'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'in a way, I guess you could say that.'.

You say (in common), 'that must be a LOT of rules to keep track of!'.

Ghazkull smiles happily.

Samiyah looks like she's glad she isn't in such a spot.

You say (in common), 'Oh! I met someone as old as you today! Her name was Lucretia and she knew Bliss and DarkClaw as a mortal'.

Ghazkull blinks.

You say (in common), 'as mortals, rather'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have not heard that name in a LONG time'.

You say (in common), 'She is a dwarf-thief-werewolf and she knew who I was! am..'.
Samiyah shakes her head. 'It has been a long, strange day.'

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'indeed, Kerriariadne scared me today'.

Samiyah stifles an unexpected and jaw-cracking yawn.

You say (in common), 'Me too!!'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I was fighting Berengor in the Delving and he started attacking me with boogas!'.

Samiyah covers her mouth with one hand as she gasps in surprise.
You say (in common), '... He hugged me. Then remembered he shouldn't.. and apologized'.

Ghazkull laughs.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'he was in a good mood today.'.

Ghazkull looks at you with concern, 'you look exhausted'

You nod.
You say (in common), 'I have been running for days straight.'.

You say (in common), 'I must go help chico'.

Samiyah touches her hand to her forehead, her lips, and her heart in a tribal gesture of respect.

(Sami leaves, helps Chico, and comes back.)

The Storytelling Amphitheater
[Exits: west]
(Dark Purple Aura) Ghazkull is here.

You say (in common), 'I'm sorry about that'.

Chico ftells, 'Many, many, many thanks'.

Ghazkull smiles happily.

You say (in common), 'I really should go -- Teva is awake and alert and I am weary'.

Ghazkull nods.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I have one question, if I may'.

You ftell, 'my pleasure'.

You nod.

Ghazkull fidgets, unsure how to word the question.

You blink.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'How.. How would _you_ feel, if I was unhappy where I was and decided to join you in the High Order? I'm not saying I am, nor that I would do'.

You say (in common), '...I would not want you to be unhappy. So if you were, I would want you to change what makes you unhappy.. But...'.

Samiyah struggles to say the words out loud.
Samiyah whispers, '..I am not...'
You say (in common), 'I.. I am .. very bad... at being good.'.

Ghazkull laughs.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'as I am very bad at being 'evil.

Samiyah smiles crookedly.

You say (in common), 'I would like to have the company of a friend, but that would be a very selfish reason to ask someone to walk a path of faith. I believe in Sahib.. That is my world.'.

Ghazkull nods.

You say (in common), 'I do not ..I .. I struggle with... with the ...'.
Samiyah sighs.
You say (in common), 'the structure and the rules of His Order. I TRY. . . I do try so very hard... I believe in Him...He is my .. my Father in many ways, and has watched over me.. I know He cares about me. I just...'.
Samiyah falls silent.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I think I understand'.

Samiyah murmurs, 'I wish I did.'

Ghazkull smiles softly.

You sigh.
You say (in common), 'I am a foolish desert girl.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'foolish?'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I wouldn't say that'.

You say (in common), 'Always, I struggle, struggle, struggle.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'you think with your heart'.

You say (in common), 'Sometimes I wish He had given me more of His spirit so that it would tame mine better.'.

Ghazkull shakes his head.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'never wish for that! You would lose the part of you that makes you you.'.

Samiyah gestures at the scarlet sparkles within her aura.

You say (in common), 'there's only little bits. There's plenty of me. People say I am not myself any more... I am.. it's just... a little sadder, is all. You cannot stay twelve forever.'.

Ghazkull laughs.

You say (in common), 'People grow up. They see things. They change. Some of that.. Yes. It is Seraph's fault... if fault is the word'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'They change the people around them, as well.'.

You say (in common), 'Some of it is the Hunters. Some of it is the Alchemists. Some of it is Anduin and his hatred of bards. Some of it is dying and some of it is living and some of it is writing songs too sad to be sung. Of such great truth about myself, I cannot speak the words'.
You shrug.
You say (in common), 'I think sometimes people lose track of the fact I am not Tross's age. They think I am the little bard... but.. I'm not any more.'.

You blink.
You say (in common), 'I.. don't quite know where all of that came from. I guess it just needed saying... so thank you for listening.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'when I awoke at Algenara, you were not a little bard to me. I did not know you when you were a 'little' bard'.

You say (in common), 'Finally, someone!!'.
You cheer enthusiastically at the way things are going.

Ghazkull laughs.

Samiyah wrinkles her brow in thought.
Samiyah sits on the stone bench once more, facing you.
Samiyah removes the decorative brooches holding her veil in place.
Samiyah unwinds the dark linen folds of fabric that cowl her hair.
Samiyah lifts the last drape that conceals her face.

Ghazkull blinks.
Ghazkull slowly moves his gaze to the bard’s face.

You say (in common), '...I would call you friend, but .. cannot.'.

Ghazkull smiles at you.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'I understand that you cannot call me friend.'.

Ghazkull takes in the bards face, eyes widening slightly at something he sees.

Samiyah slowly repins her veil.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'know that I call you friend, regardless. I have something for you also, if I may.'.

Samiyah winds the fabric over her hair and hair, putting everything back into place.

You blink.
You say (in common), 'What's that?'.

Ghazkull gets a black rose from a water-stained book.
Ghazkull gives you a black rose.

Samiyah examines it with a blink.

You say (in common), 'I haven't ever seen anything like this'.
You say (in common), 'it's beaut.. OUCH!'.

Ghazkull winces. Ouch!

Samiyah sucks a bead of blood from her thumb where a large thorn pierced it.
Samiyah freezes, glancing at you with her thumb still in her mouth, checking your reaction to the scent of the blood.

Ghazkull's nostrils flare slightly but his composure doesn't change.

Samiyah asks weakly, 'Like pastries?'

Ghazkull chuckles, evidently amused.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and now'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'you are exhausted, and I must depart also'.

You nod.
You say (in common), 'it has been a long day.'.

Ghazkull says (in elven), 'Thank you, for yesterday.'.
Ghazkull says (in elven), 'and Thank you, for what has been a pleasant evening'.

You nod.
You say (in common), 'I should not say it, but... it was worth the punishment, to help you.'.

You say (in common), 'good night.'.

Relatives and Pastries

You gossip, 'Hello, everyone.'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'Hi'.
Tross tells you (in common), 'hey - are belsambar and belgarion related?'.

You tell Tross, 'Hello, Tross! Yes, they most certainly are. Belgarion is Belsambar's nephew.'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'Oh! neat. I figured with the bel thing in common.'.

You tell Tross, '*grin* *nod* It's sometimes...difficult, since they follow different deities, but they generally get along well.'.
You tell Tross, 'Do you have any relatives here?'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'No. All I had was da. *bitter* But he hasn't come back.'.

You tell Tross, '*frowns with concern* How long has he been gone?'.
You tell Tross, 'And why in the name of the Gods did he leave you to fend for yourself?!'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'Whatever *he states bitterly, with the 'who cares' attitude of someone angry and given up*'.
Tross tells you (in common), 'He left me with Algenara. He was supposed to come back.'.

You tell Tross, '*sighs and offers a small smile, her fangs briefly showing* I didn't mean to offend you. I'm sure you can take care of yourself.'.
You tell Tross, 'It's just not...typical...at your age.'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'Wish looks out for me. Even if He hasn't come back.'.

You tell Tross, '*softly* Wish will take good care of you. I'm sorry about your da. Perhaps it's not his fault.'.

Tross tells you (in common), '*sullen* Yeah. Maybe. Still.'.
Tross tells you (in common), 'its ok. I can eat what I want now, and I don't have to wash all the time.'.

You tell Tross, '*her smile changes to a full-blown grin* True, though both of those things aren't always good for you. You could become sick.'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'can't be worse than mushrooms. Ugh'.

You tell Tross, '*laugh* I happen to agree. That's all I had to eat for a VERY long time.'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'Cordir took all my pastries and left me mushrooms - but Wish said it was ok so i can eat them again.'.

You tell Tross, '*chuckle* You do know that if she finds out again...she will likely repeat it.'.

Tross tells you (in common), '*grins* Oh, she said it was up to Wish. Wish just said I had to brush. We settled on swishing.'.

You tell Tross, '*snicker* Well, looks like it's all taken care of, then! Though...you could bring me one of those pastries sometime, if you have an extra. *winks*'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'Oh? I thought you only ate blood and stuff.'.

You tell Tross, 'Oh no. Sometimes I dabble in human food, when the mood strikes. I just acquire no nourishment from it.'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'Wish really likes pastries too. I told him he needs to make sure when he fixes himself up he still likes more than fish'.

You tell Tross, '*laugh* Indeed! Though it might save his followers, and you, some money if he doesn't.'.

Tross tells you (in common), 'but we'd have to fish less. Or maybe he likes to fish for himself? Guess I'd have to ask.'.

You tell Tross, 'Hmm, good point. That could be much more trouble than it's worth.'.
