Concern

The Cooler
[Exits:None]
A blizzard swirls around your body encasing it in ice, trapping you in this
place for all time or until the immortals take pity on your tortured soul.

Samiyah tells DarkClaw (in common), '..Lady... is he any better?'.

DarkClaw tells Samiyah, 'He is the same, Samiyah. Working on creating a solution with his alchemy.'.

Samiyah tells DarkClaw (in common), 'Thank you. While I did not do anything to harm him, my poem seemed to be the tinder for the fire and I grieve for his pain.'.

DarkClaw tells Samiyah, 'I believe you were used as a tool, Samiyah, nothing more. Wish's anger may be directed at you, but mine is not.'

Samiyah tells DarkClaw (in common), 'Seraph did not know about the poem. When he learned of it, he was angry and questioned my faith. There was no plot, no scheme.'

DarkClaw tells Samiyah, 'Finding fault is not really our priority now. Finding a solution is.'.

Faith

Seraph has granted Samiyah the ability to see him when he is invis.

Seraph says, 'Hello Samiyah.'.

Samiyah bows deeply.
Samiyah says (in common), 'Sahib.'.

Seraph says, 'What are you doing here?'

Samiyah glances around, shivering in the cold. 'I was disrespectful to you and to Wish.'

Seraph says, 'Hmmm...who put you here?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'I could not see them, Sahib.'.

Seraph nods.

Samiyah looks at Seraph.
Samiyah blinks.

Seraph says, 'I don't know what to do.'
Seraph says, 'whomever put you here thinks you deserve it.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'They said I was disrespectful.'.
Samiyah says (in common), 'Wish said I was as well.'.
Samiyah says (in common), 'People say I have changed for the worse. I never could have imagined being so angry that I walked away when an Immortal was speaking.'

Seraph says, 'Do you feel you have?'

Samiyah says softly, 'I was very angry with You and Wish. But that does not excuse rudeness.'

Seraph says, 'but do you feel you have changed?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'I am not the same girl that left the desert, no, but I was young then.'
Samiyah says (in common), 'Have I changed since knowing you?'
Samiyah bites her lower lip.
Samiyah says, '... I cannot say.'

Seraph says, 'Think I have influenced you for the worse?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'You have taught me courage and that the ways of the desert are not the only way."

Samiyah says in a whisper, 'But I also had never lied until I met you."

Seraph folds his hands behind his back.
Seraph says, 'So you are saying I bring out the worst in you?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'I am saying that I am ... different.'

Seraph says, 'Everone changes.'
Seraph slowly walks around.
Seraph says, 'I must say, I was surprised yesterday with you.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'In what way, Sahib? For walking away from the room?'

Seraph says, "No, trying to befriend the fish.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'I know he is not my friend - he made that clear, but...'
Samiyah wrinkles her brow trying to find the words.

Seraph stops walking around, waiting for an answer.

Samiyah says (in common), 'I try hard not to hate anyone, despite what the whispering voice said yesterday.'

Seraph says, 'What voice?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'After you left. A soft woman's voice.'

Seraph says, 'What did it say?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'Wish was saying that you hate everyone, so I must also.. and I said I do not.. and then the whisper said, 'But you do.' "
Samiyah says (in common), 'I do not hate anyone... I am angry with Wish because he said my poem was trash and with DarkClaw and Belgarion, but that is all.'

Seraph mumbles, 'Cor...'
Seraph says, 'Did this voice say anything else?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'No, it said nothing else.'

Seraph removes his helm, kneels down, and looks you in the eyes.
Seraph's eye sockets swirl with a blue/red light.
Seraph says, 'You can make your own choices, but as your god...'

Samiyah listens.

Seraph says, 'Look, Samiyah, if you disobey me, and you're supposed to stand next to me.. how will other people respect you or I?'

Samiyah says (in common), 'I have not disobeyed You, have I, Sahib? I have ..disagreed.. and chosen to keep my heart open, but I have obeyed all that you have told me to do...'

Seraph says, 'When I declare someone an enemy, how does it look that you want to be friends with them?'

Samiyah says (in common), '..Bad, Sahib.'
Samiyah bows her head.

Seraph says, 'I truly believe I am the one you want to follow, but sometimes you just can't do what you please.'

Samiyah whispers, 'Then why don't you believe in me, Seraph? The world condemns me and yet I follow. But over and over, you have questioned it or walked away."

Seraph stands up, his wings open wide.
Seraph says, 'As I stated earlier.'
Seraph sighs loudly.
Seraph says, 'You can't be friends with everyone and follow my beliefs.'

Samiyah bows her head once more and whispers, 'Yes, Sahib.'

Seraph says, 'The same as any immortal.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'You said last night that I could be friends with no one, save Nexus.. and I do not know any of them...'

Seraph says, 'The choice is simple, Samiyah.'
Seraph says, 'Be friends with everyone, or follow my beliefs.'
Seraph says, 'See? Still your choice.'
Seraph folds his hands behind his back.

Samiyah looks up at Him, sadness in her eyes.

Seraph walks over to you and gently touches your cheek.
Seraph says, 'Dear one, I have watched over you, guided you, protected your soul.'

Samiyah nods.

Seraph says, 'These other people have done nothing but try to turn you against me.'
Seraph says, 'But still you want to be friends.'
Seraph slowly shakes his head.
Seraph says, 'I do not understand why.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'Because they - just as you do - say they are trying to protect me. So I forgive them and still make my own choices.'

Seraph says, 'When you fall, are they there to pick you up and keep you safe?'

Samiyah shakes her head and says, 'No, Seraph.'

Seraph says, 'No, all they do is tell you how evil I am, and how much I want to destroy the Realm.'
Seraph says, 'They cause death every day, while I protect you... but I am the evil one.'
Seraph says, 'I do not understand why you keep going back.'
Seraph says, 'I do not understand why I am not enough and why you must keep seeking out their guidance.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'Because.. You keep leaving me.'

Seraph says, 'I do not leave you. You make a choice and I walk away to see how you deal with it.'
Seraph says, 'But when you are in danger or being harmed, I am there.'

Samiyah says (in common), 'You do.. you yell and shout and tell me I do not believe.. You thunder and you blacken the sky.'

Seraph says, 'Because I do not understand this need for other people.'

Seraph says, 'I am being called. I must go.'

You nod.
You bow your head.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'Wish was going to hit you?!'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'yes. Then lots of talking and "enemies"! and Wish called my poem trash and I got upset and left'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'so.. everyone is angry.. Seraph says no more friends with anyone and Wish says I am to die'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'so...everything is bad and I want to go home!!'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'no more friends with anyone.. meaning you can't have friends? or that he is not your friend?'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'and why would the poem make him sick? was it written in poison?'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'so bad that you want to go home?! it must be bad indeed'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'No more friends with anyone except Seraph and Boromir'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I'm sorry, but I refuse'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'NO it was NOT poison! It was just octopus ink!!'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'interesting..'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'He said that it looks bad if I am friends with everyone he has named an enemy'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I was not accusing you of poisoning him, Samiyah'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'Sami, what is that noise?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'He had always talked of choices.. but now he talks of enemies'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'ah, yes'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'smart girl :)'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'who I will not relinquish as a friend'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'that is too far'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'Couldn’t talk, I was so cold...'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'and have you learned fireball? do you have enough charges?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'Only a few left.'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'He forbids it, Sayyida.'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'Enemies with all except Boromir'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'he forbids you'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'he has no power over me'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I would tell you that he goes too far...that he does not give you your choice that he claims'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'that he does not care for you if he seeks to take your friends from you'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'but I fear that that would anger you'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'that you would think I also wish to control you'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'so let me say this: HE HAS NO POWER OVER ME'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I will be a friend whether he allows it or not'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), '*softly* I am not angry. But I do not know what to do. He is my God.. and I must obey.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I do not know what to say either'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'forsaking a god is a dangerous thing'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'though it has been done'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'I cannot do that.. so I must obey as he says.. but it breaks my heart.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'you cannot?'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'or you will not?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'I have said to him many times that I do not know how or want to live with a closed heart'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'then it will kill you'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'but he has held my soul safe in his hands time and time again'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'and that .. I cannot question or say against.'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), '.. that is what my title means.'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), '"bint Suriel" - no longer, "bint Rasul"'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), '"bint" is "daughter"'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'And if he protected your soul for control, rather than out of concern?'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'or if he is wrong, even if he means well?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'when Wish tried to alchemize me when I did not wish it.. He pulled my spirit out and into him to keep it safe'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'it felt like.. like.. belonging.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'and what if he forbids you to sing? to write? to dream?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'I.. have to say the words in my heart and did so even when I knew he would be angry'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'but all of this talk of enemy.. it is new. unexpected.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'well I wish you a clear head as you travel this new path then'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I do not think you will find much joy being an enemy to all'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'nor do I think you will find much success at it'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'He talks of violence and bloodshed and death but says I will not have to take part in it'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'or so you believe'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'I don't .. I can't do that. I cannot .. how do you say? .. rebirth or cut thread'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'perhaps that will be the next unexpected change'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'i will not cut a Thread.'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'I will not stop singing songs.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I hope not'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'for no one can sing like you'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'Well.. they are poems mostly, but I hear them like a song'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'and Sayyida - there are many'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'no, Samiyah, there are not'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'there are many voices'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'many poets'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'but each has his or her own lilt'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'and yours is a haunting voice I would miss should it fall silent'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), '(and sometimes a firey one..)'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), '*small voice* But Wish said it was trash.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'what was the poem about, if I may ask?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'about his alchemy'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'and what I saw'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'which is likely not what he sees in his alchemy, am I correct?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'He .. it was part of the arguing'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'of which there has been much'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'so let me put it this way'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'if he were to write a poem about you'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'and were to claim that you were.. something you know you are not'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'he did alchemy to make me See. So it was about what I Saw.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'something..halaal? Is that the word?'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I guess my point is, perhaps he considers the topic trash'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'without looking at the composition itself'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'a sand cat with claws is what he said . Yes. well. no. he says that word is wrong. Is 'Haraam.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'Yes, if he were to write a beautiful poem comparing you to a sand cat with claws'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'but it were written in the most perfect style'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'that would be both trash and beauty'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'would it not?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'It would be wrong.. '.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'but I do not even call Boromir's jokes trash and they are very bad'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'no, but you are an artist'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'he is not'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'perhaps he does not feel the distinction the way you do'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'But I am me and he is not and He might call such a thing trash'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'precisely'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'so when I say that the realm would suffer for the lack of your voice'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'who do you believe? Wish, the Alchemist god with a drive to prove you wrong?'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'or me? a fellow bard?'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'a friend'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'I trust a bard to know of a bard's worth.. and a friend to speak it in kindness'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'well then'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), '.. thank you. The word had laid very heavy on me.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I imagine'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'to call your work trash was unkind'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'though it sounds as if you repaid him in kind'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'hence the cooler'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'like a stone with many others like "slave" and "mindless" and '.
Samiyah tells you (in common), '.. it has been hard. '.

You tell Samiyah (in common), '*comfort*'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), '..but I should not have been disrespectful and disobedient'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'perhaps you will write your next poem about the cooler'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'I have never seen it'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'is it...much other than cold?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'empty'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'hm..I would agree with you normally'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'that no, you should have not'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'angry'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'wrathful'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'the cold stings to remind you of being separate'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'it sounds awful'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), '.. thank you, Sayyida'.
Samiyah tells you (in common), 'Your words warm me.'.

You tell Samiyah (in common), 'you are welcome, Samiyah'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'and now I must go..I hate to leave you comfortless in your cold prison'.
You tell Samiyah (in common), 'have they told you how long you will stay?'.

Samiyah tells you (in common), 'No.'.

Restored

You tell DarkClaw (in common), 'Lady.. has there been any improvement?'.

DarkClaw tells you, 'None so far, that I know of anyway. I have not seen Wish yet this evening.'.

Seraph has granted you the ability to see him when he is invis.

Samiyah touches her hand to her forehead, her lips, and her heart in a tribal gesture of respect.
You say (in common), 'Sahib'.

Seraph says, 'hello dear one'.

Samiyah shivers in the cold.
Samiyah tries to cast another fireball, but is unable.

Seraph touches your face: a warmth takes over your body.

Samiyah's teeth stop their chattering, and she stops shivering against the icy cold wind.

You say (in common), 'Thank you, Sahib...'.
You say (in common), 'I could only keep myself warm with fires, earlier...'.
You say (in common), 'But I ran out of scores.'.

Seraph says, 'Samiyah, I have achieved my rightful spot among the gods'.

Samiyah covers her mouth with one hand as she gasps in surprise.
Samiyah's eyes go wide above her veil in shock and she falls to the ground in a pile of dark linen.

Seraph holds out his hand towards you.

Samiyah murmurs faintly, 'Sahib!! You are restored!'

Seraph says, 'i have waited for you to worship me first if you choose to'.

> worship seraph
You now worship Seraph!
You are zapped by a black pearl brooch.

Seraph has accepted you into the following!

You say (in common), 'My soul has been in your hands for some time, now, Sahib.'.

Seraph ftells, 'welcome Samiyah'.

You ftell, '*bow* Sahib..'.
You ftell, 'I am.. deeply glad.'.

If Hell itself had a champion, it would look much like the unholy figure
that towers over you. Dressed from head to toe in black plate armor, the
unrelieved sable continues in the inky wings that arch upward. Weapons,
shield, and armor alike bears the evidence of battle - blood dripping in
a steady stream to pool at his feet. Thick shouldered, bearing the signs
of two gods - Kerriariadne and Katrana - worn still around his wrists, a
clearer picture of violence could not be drawn. His multi-hued hair - an
uninteresting brown at the top, fading to a pale white at the ends - has
been braided back, to stay out of his eyes during combat. His eyes seem
unusually dark, shadowed, until he lifts his head with an evil laugh, an
unopposed view granted of the burned holes that are all that remains. It
is a horrifying sight and he laughs at your discomfort. His crossed arms
draw your eye to the holy symbols still worn around his wrists: That of
Katrana and Kerriariadne - the gods that shaped him the most strongly.
As he returns your stare, you feel a strange tugging in your chest - a
sense of emptiness... as if, by his presence alone, he could steal that
which is most precious - your very essence. With a smirk and a flick of
his fingers, he releases his playful tugging on your spirit... For now.
Seraph is bathed in the essence of charisma.
Seraph is in perfect health.

Seraph is using:

<worn about body> a long robe of pure white linen
<worn with pride> (Artifact magic) (Glowing) (Humming) the Medallion of Godhood

Seraph says, 'would you like to leave this place?'.

Seraph accepts the sacrifice you carry.
Seraph gives you a gold coin for your sacrifice.

You get a pair of ring mail leggings from bag made from sparrow hide.

Samiyah clings to your hand and nods. 'Yes, Sahib. Please.'

again, there are more than a few giants that belong to The Guild, so
it may just be so. A stairway leads up to another hallway above.

You ftell, 'You have honored me greatly already, Sahib'.
You ftell, 'Granting me the honor of being first'.

Seraph ftells, 'you will write the rules on the board list'.

You ftell, 'You had said there would be other rules, than the four.. ?'.

You ftell, 'Do you wish them listed at this time?'.

Seraph ftells, 'sub rules i will write them'.

Dun says (in common), 'will you be joining seraph?'.

You smile happily.
You say (in common), 'It is my honor to do so already'.

Dun shakes his head.
Dun looks at you.
Dun says (in common), 'oh you already do'.

You nod.
You say (in common), 'I do.'.

Samiyah beams happily.

Dun comforts you.

Samiyah's brow furrows as she frowns, looking troubled.

Dun says (in common), 'careful he doesn't do you like he did Hedschott and Golson'.
Dun says (in common), 'the first time he was immortal'.

You say (in common), 'He has already held my soul in his hands.'.

Seraph ftells, 'there he goes figured that would happen lol'.

You ftell, '*nod* I was not surprised that a Nashite would be the first to speak ill of you, Sahib.'.

Seraph ftells, 'of course'.
