leads out into a small courtyard.

DarkClaw emerges from a thick layer of mist as it dissipates and seeps into the ground, a soft whisper filling the area.

A foul scent of decay fills your nostrils, causing you to gag.

Samiyah recites, 'He locked himself into a tower, to keep from feeding deep,'.
Samiyah recites, 'And threw himself from battlements, a final death to seek'.

Samiyah recites, 'Landing hard, his shattered bones were piercing through his flesh'.
Samiyah recites, 'And hound appeared to drag him back, each wound remained as fresh'.

Trilian shudders from the sheer thought of it.

Samiyah recites, 'Time flowed past, he lost all track, night seeping into night'.
Samiyah recites, 'But fed from those the hound would bring, unwilling now to fight'.

Samiyah recites, 'Her cries of pain and anguish as he drank her soul at last'.
Samiyah recites, 'Stripped his last humanity - true curse had come to pass'.
Samiyah recites, 'Then weeping, sobbing, crying out, he laid her in her bed'.
Samiyah recites, 'And gently brushed her golden hair, and gently kissed her head'.

The air goes still and quiet, as if the sound of a child wailing was suddenly stilled.

Samiyah recites, 'The cradle by her bedside was an empty wooden shell'.
Samiyah recites, 'Their son was gone and sent away, from parents living hell'.
Samiyah recites, 'He smashed this sign of sons escape, flung shards beneath her bed'.
Samiyah recites, 'Intending that his bloodline would be thought as being dead'.

Samiyah recites, 'Cale appeared, a smirking smile, the hellhound at his heel'.
Samiyah recites, 'But not in time to learn of aught the shards might have revealed.'.

Trilian grins evilly.

Samiyah recites, '"Everything is lost" he heard, as Marel cried aloud'.
Samiyah recites, '"Youve taken all I loved from me," his tone completely cowed'.

Samiyah recites, '"But all I did, was what you asked!" replied the cowled one'.
Samiyah recites, '"Just tell me what you want from me and it will sure be done!"'.
Samiyah recites, '"I want the hunger foul to stop! I want to see her eyes!"'.
Samiyah recites, '"I want to hear her songs again, beneath the daylit skies!"'.

Anguish washes over you: the weight of foul deeds, selfishness, loathing...

Samiyah recites, '"Done!" replied the sneering Cale, "You only had to ask,"'.
Samiyah recites, 'Marel turned to see his bride if Cale had done this task.'.
Samiyah recites, 'A band of diamonds, blue of course the very same deep hue '.
Samiyah recites, 'And the lilt of singing notes, sounding pure and true'.

Samiyah recites, 'But still she laid, and still was dead, until with shudder woke'.
Samiyah recites, 'And when she gazed upon him, it was these words she spoke:'.

Samiyah pauses in her recitation, unable to finish that stanza, the horror clear in her eyes.

A foul echoing laughter grates across your senses as he names Himself.

Samiyah recites, 'Silonch of Conclave, he convinced, surely bore her soul'.
Samiyah recites, 'To have her love and have her kiss - this was his only goal'.

Trilian raises an eyebrow.

Samiyah recites, 'So sent her dreams and whispered spells, to lure her close at hand'.

Eathor looks at Ink.

Samiyah recites, 'Until, a twist of Maurice-fate - She recalled to his lands'.
Samiyah recites, 'Stumbling blindly, screaming fear, the hellhounds nipped her heels'.
Samiyah recites, 'Into the maddened Baron's grip... where her fate was sealed.'.

Samiyah recites, 'A kiss upon her cherry lips, a bite upon her throat'.
Samiyah recites, 'He stole a bit of life but then - he cast her 'cross the moat'.

You hear Silonch's death cry! Her mortal shell is quickly caught up and carried away by an Arch-Mage...

Trilian sniffs sadly.

DarkClaw nods.

A high, keening wail of broken hopes and agony rips through your senses, driving you mad.

Samiyah recites, 'The vine could not give mercy sweet, no vintage dulled away'.

The dying screams of a grape stomper fill the night as she is unwillingly transformed...

Samiyah sinks mutely into a kneeling posture on the stone floor, utterly exhausted.
