Current Description:
Warmth emanates from this Elf... the same warmth and comfort one would feel
while sitting in front of a fire on a cold winter's eve. Rich, chestnut hair frames
her face, falling lazily about her neck and shoulders. Eyes the color of a deep
brown peruse your features and assess your being, yet hold no threat to their
gaze. Her garb consists of only the necessities, nothing fancy or frivolous, as she
prefers to remain unnoticed and blend in with her surroundings. The cloths she
wears are earthy tones, rich browns and greens, soft leathers to make all of her
movements come with ease. A bow, some daggers, and the minimal amount of
supplies are the only accessories that weigh her down. The shade of her skin is a
pale, creamy ivory, making her hooded cloak a necessity for keeping the glow of
her flesh invisible to the mortal eye when needed. The aura surrounding her is
that of a woodsman, seeming only at home in natural surroundings, places
where she can move freely and breathe the air. She is a wood Elf, one of the Ghys,
lost within this unfamiliar realm.

Character History:
Crouching low, she touched her fingers to the earth, a dark emptiness filling her, almost as if she could feel Nature's sorrow as her eyes peered over the scorched lands. There was nothing left...no leaves to soften each step of her mocassin-covered feet, no trees to ease the brightness of the noon sun, no animals scurrying about over the foilage-bearing ground...even the Ghys' current seemed to slow as it wound its watery way through its chiseled path. Scrye fell to her knees and forward, her head thumping against the soot-covered floor, fingers grasping at the ashen remains of the forest life that once was. She wept.
Some say the fire was started by a mage duel along the eastern edge of the Ghys. Other tales say that a horde of dragons rode through the skies overhead, blackening the lands with their vicious fire breath. In part, Scrye wished she would someday know...another part of her was well aware that the knowledge would be pointless and would bring nothing back.
Scrye had been gone for almost a year before this time, exploring the nearby lands, teaching herself as much as she could about the neighboring geography and resources that may be available to her people. Her people...of which she was the only one left ...now her ranger skills would become more of a necessity than ever. Heading westward, she made her way across the now barren land and into more plush regions, in hopes of finding a new life for herself...and perhaps even some answers.
