MUD WIDE ITEMS

As the Equipment page shows non-random items, this page details a few random items. Non-random items are written into specific zones and can be obtained from specific mobs or locations. Random items pop...well, randomly throughout the entire realm. This page shows some random items that pop across the realm, and what to expect when they are found.

Named Amulets

There are several kinds of Named Amulets. These always appear as some sort of random, but when Identified, reveal their true nature and the name of the item changes to the name of the amulet. *BE WARNED* - If you Restring a Named Amulet, and then the restring is Identified, the restring's short and long description will be destroyed. (Extra descriptions will remain on the amulet.)

  • Amulet of True Seeing - This amulet grants the spell, True Seeing when worn.
  • Amulet of Health - This amulet assists with regeneration, helping the wearer to heal a number of hit points dependant on the level of the amulet.
  • Amulet of Steadfastness - This amulet protects against mind-effect spells
  • Amulet of Anti-Theft - This amulet guards the wearer against thieves use of Steal - but it is level effective, so if the thief is higher level than the amulet, they may be able to steal through it.
  • Amulet of Waterbreathing - this amulet grants the spell Waterbreating when worn.
  • Amulet of Blocking - this amulet provides protection from the Summon spell. As with Anti-Theft, it is level-effective, so if the summoning cleric is higher level, they may be able to summon through it.
  • Amulet of Obscurity - This amulet guards the wearer against thieves use of INFO2. As with Anti-Theft, it is level effective, so if the thief is higher level than the amulet, they may be able to INFO through it.
