This wide north-south tunnel leads north towards the ruins of the 
Citadel, and south towards the smelty. To the west a tunnel leads
into the mines. A newer, though still ancient, tunnel leads east 
towards the city of Dwarvenhold. Set into the floor is a metal track,
coming from the south and turning west into the mines.

The intersection of two wide tunnels
[Exits: north east south west]
This wide north-south tunnel leads north towards the ruins of the 
Citadel, and south towards the smelty. To the west a tunnel leads
into the mines. A newer, though still ancient, tunnel leads east 
towards the city of Dwarvenhold. Set into the floor is a metal track,
coming from the south and turning west into the mines.

You are just inside the entrance to the Dwarvenhold Mines. The floor
here is worn into a rut along the side of the passage, from centuries
of ore-carts hauling ore from the smelty to the warehouses of Dwarvenhold.

A dark tunel head west into the solid rock, going deeper inside 
the mountain. It's too dark inside it to see much, but you have a 
clear view of the Dwarvenhold walls in the huge cavern to the east.

Outside Dwarvenhold

You are standing at the bottom of some stairs in the south end of 
a vast cavern, with a ceiling so high you can't make it out in the 
darkness above. To the north looms a high wall, cutting off the rest 
of the cavern from Dwarvenhold. There is a road of sorts leading from 
the gatehouse to the north to the entrance to the mines, to the west.

Gatehouse of the Wall

You are standing inside the gatehouse of the Wall of Dwarvenhold. 
From here you can see that the Wall is fifty feet thick. The massive 
stone gates are set on balanced pivots, designed so that they can be 
shut easily from within, but can withstand almost any attack.

This is the southern end of Grand Avenue. To the south is the gatehouse, 
set in the Wall of Dwarvenhold. To the east and west Wall Avenue leads 
deeper into the city.

You are on Grand Avenue, the common area of Dwarvenhold. Here, the
guards are less aggressive about keeping out foreigners, and the
occasional merchant is allowed in. Deeper in the city, though, it is a
different story. To the west rises the marble edifice of the Kings'
Library, and to the east is the one building in Dwarvenhold that comes
close to the splendour of Divad Keep, Dwarvenhold Temple.

You are in a circular room, with a marbled floor and a domed ceiling.
The wall of the room consists entirely of pigeonholes, each with a
scroll in it. A center desk provides the librarian a place to work,
while comfortable chairs placed in a circle around it allow scholars
to peruse to their hearts content. A doorway leads east back to Grand 
Avenue.

Grand Avenue

You are on Grand Avenue, the common area of Dwarvenhold. Here, the
guards are less aggressive about keeping out foreigners, and the

Fountain Plaza

This open plaza is always bustling with activity, as this is the only
place for citydwellers to get water. To the west is the friendly open 
door of the Dwarven Adventurer's Guild, and to the east is the small
Dwarvenhold Inn, where favored merchants are allowed to stay. Grand 
Avenue continues to the north and south.
In the center of the Plaza is Snowwater Fountain.

The Dwarven Adventurer's Guild

You are standing in the Dwarven Adventurer's Guild. A blue-outlined
door leads south into the guild proper. A bulletin board is posted
on the north wall. A doorway to the east leads out to Fountain Plaza.

This huge room is the meeting place for all known adventurers of the
world.  Due to special magics set upon the room, going north will allow
you instant transport to your hometown, no matter what your race may
be.  The room is filled with many people, most of them wannabe
adventurers, but scattered amongst the throng of people you spot more
than a few living legends.  It is rumored that even immortals visit
this place upon occasion.

You are standing in the office of a very busy clerk who obviously takes
care of thousands and thousands of records.  Papers and folders are stuffed
into every drawer and cabinet, ledgers and books are piled in corners and
on tables throughout the room.  A large desk sits in the center, cluttered
with papers.  Apparently, this office is used to maintain the records of 
every misdeed done as well as any "kick-back" to remove those records.

various make from all over the realm.  Four large chandeliers hang from 
above giving a splendid light to this place.  The exit to the hall stands
to the west and doors lead to the north, east, and south.

From this place, warrants are issued to bounty hunters under the guidelines
of the great implementors.  Though not officially organized by those greater
powers, these men have taken it upon themselves to make a fortune by keeping
track of misdeeds and legally extorting the offending mortal.  Often times, 
a bounty hunter is dispatched to demonstrate the need to pay off this group.
The Scribe looks at you and compares your face with the picture he holds.
