Current Description

Corri the poky little puppy - Triat Master
At first glance, you are struck by the impression of youth. Energetic blue eyes
shine outward, reckless and engaging. Fine wisps of copper curls frame delicate
cheekbones, and she pushes the hair tolerantly out of the way. The rest of her
hair, once plaited in long braids, sticks out sharply in all directions a rude
and ragged chop leaving her shorn. A dark ribbon lays across her neck, creating
a sharp border between chin and clavicle. Behind her neck, the velvet fabric of
the ribbon is smeared by five pale lines of dust.

She pushes yet another escaping curl back behind her ear, sleeve tugging back at
the motion to show a few tattooed ash leaves sneaking into view at her wrist. As
you find further opportunity to study her, you realize there is an aged and well
weathered tree etched across her entire back. Branches are drawn along each arm,
a scattering of leaves flowing wistfully across her forearms. At the bony point
of her elbow, a black-inked raven feather grows from the end of a branch. Down
at her ankles, you see the tattooed ends of the roots, snaked from her hips and
tumbled around her calves down to the soles of her feet. Carried proud upon her
form, the inked form of a majestic Ash looms in black, earthy brown, and shades
of muted green.

Once upon a time there was an evil hermit who stole Hermin, (the
cockroach), from his small close-knit community while he was a baby.
This hermit harvested rare "protein party-pies", (as he called them),
from far and wide across the realm for their special nutritional
benefits - however - he wasn't a kind kidnapper, and always sought some
poor sod to befriend in order to get close enough to billet the
dependant abductee until they grew fat and juicy.

Hermin *begs* you to rescue and protect him!!
Hermin leads a charmed life.
Hermin is in perfect, (and delicious), health.

Examining this ring, you see that several types of grasses have been carefully
collected and then woven painstakingly into a ring. You can identify several -
the lush, verdant green beneath the hooves of the Unicorn in Master's Tower, a
particular strain found only in the Mystic Woods, and a third that reminds you
of the short, leafy variety that grows under the tobacco fields of Emdeeville.
Atop the round band, a small grub wriggles with all its might, trying to evade
the bindings that hold it to the ring. While it isn't a very attractive insect,
it does have a certain charm: deep brown is interspersed with an irridescent-y
sort of blueish gray along its body, and its dark eyes are like tiny jewels.

Just a simple little pair of mittens, eh? Knitted, no doubt. Angora maybe.

No. Nothing so simple.
Some sort of great and terrible sorcery was used. The kind that historians
try to keep quite hush-hush lest the unwary or foolish attempt to recreate
such monstrosities. Truly, only a madman would have made such a thing. The
mind boggles, as you examine the unnatural thing before you: mittens, soft
and warm and luxurious, made of a dark black fur. Unremarkable, Except...
Except for the undeniable fact that THEY ARE ALIVE! They blink at you with
adorable, kittenish blue-gray eyes, and mewl and purr. Truly, this is mage-
gone terribly, terribly awry.

A small swamp frog sits here, croaking loudly.

The Lesser Swamp Frog is easily identified by its musty yellow color,
which blends perfectly with the thick mud found at the water's edge.
Easily identified by the black mask-like markings that run over its
eyes and by its distinctive chirp-like croak, it is most often found
in the homes of wizards, hedge-witches, and hermits of ill-repute.
