[ 7] Bliss: Reminder: Rule #1

Mon Nov 3 00:23:15 2003
To followers of: Bliss
Our first rule is to respect the Immortal staff, each other, and all other players.
I know you know what this means. It's what every grandmother or mother has told
you: "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all."
Yes, we have gotten lax, and I am just as guilty for not slicing, dicing, and
filleting you when I see it happen. Please ... please, if it starts up around you,
let it stop at your feet. Do not keep it going. Let it end with you. The gossips
degenerate to name calling, what do you do? Nothing, or channel -gossip.
You get a tell saying, "You suck and so does your mother." What do you do? Nothing.
If you ignore the instigator, they will get bored and move on. I wouldn't
even respond, not one word. Let them think they are talking to someone that went afk.
If the person says something that is wholly inappropriate, and use common sense here,
go ahead and commlog the person and yourself. And you better be sure you
have said nothing inflammatory in return. It stops here. Now.
And don't think it's ok to use the forums for this purpose. From this point forward,
if I see anything remotely inflammatory on the forums in any public thread, you
better be prepared the next time you log in.

[ 26] Mael: A PROCLAMATION

Thu Oct 4 22:58:07 2001
To: All

GIVEN THAT:
- The followers of Bliss find it in our best interests not to be attacked and killed, AND
- There are only two followings that we believe will attempt to attack and kill us regardless of our own actions,

THE ASH MOON COVEN HAS UNANIMOUSLY DECIDED TO:
- Hex all followers of Okk, in addition to the Nashites,
- Make peace with all other followings,
- Eliminate the Cabal subgroup,
- Hex any following, going forward, that attacks or kills the followers of Bliss. This means you.

Please join me in celebrating the reunification of The Coven of The Ashen Moon.

Mael, Grand Warlock of the Coven

[ 9] Mael: Coven FAQ

Fri Jan 30 02:24:53 2004
To followers of: Bliss
Question 1: Can I have any spare equipment?

Unless you're talking to Bliss or someone you know well, expect the
answer to be NO. Bliss is the only one who really knows how much or
little you've been contributing to the coffers, so she's the one who
can reward you accordingly. Also, we've had disloyal followers in
the past who deliberately got themselves killed with Coven gear, then
asked for more, before ultimately leaving and joining our enemies.

Question #2: Why do we only attack the Hexed?

Think of TFC as our own private hunting grounds. We like to hunt, but
we also want to keep the forest sufficiently full of game. So we let
unaligneds and newbie-oriented followings be, to keep TFC healthy. Once
the new players learn enough to have gear worth killing them for,
they've generally cast their lot for or against us anyway.

Question #3: How do I know if I can attack someone?

Generally, you should only attack people/followings on the Hexed list,
which Bliss keeps posted to the board. If an unaligned person performs
a blatant act of aggression against a member of the Coven, post a quick
board on it and feel free to attack away. If, however, the person is a
member of a non-hexed following, you should refrain from attacking
other members of that following until Bliss has had a chance to talk
with the related immortal.

Tynian's War With Coven: 01/12/2003

Lair of the Ash Moon Coven
[Exits: east west]
Stepping through the suspended waterfall, you find yourself in a murky
tunnel. You consider turning back, but a warm mist caressing your face
beckons you toward the crimson light ahead.

As you enter an immense crystalline cavern, the once warm and coaxing
mist suddenly becomes a constricting, frigid vise. Unable to move, a
sense of dread sweeps over you. The entire chamber appears to have been
painted in blood, as torches along the smoothed stone walls cast deep
red and amber hues throughout. The echoes of haunting melodies intensify
with each beat of your heart, as if an alarm has been sounded.

Whispers. Shadows. Then ... a warm embrace. The chilling vise has been
dispelled. It appears you are now safe to examine this lair more closely.
