Adopt

ADOPT Syntax: ADOPT <PetName>

If you are in the presence of a mob that deals in pets, this command will allow you to adopt on provided you are allowed the specific pet he handles.

Pets can be adopted at various places around the MUD. Each class is paired with a specific type of pet, or is barred from having pets, as listed below.

Warriors: falcons
Shamans: snakes
Thieves: ferrets
Mages: owls
Rangers: wolves
Clerics and Ordained are not allowed pets.

Multi-classed players may have a pet allowed by any of their classes.
