	I think grouping could be made a bit more interesting. First of all, assist could be enhanced so 'assist group all' would make a character assist anyone in the group. Also a new command that would enable the leader to rearrange the order of the group would be needed. Perhaps 'formation kalara 3' would put Kalara in position 3, and the previous character in position 3, and those below, would shuffle down until Kalara's original position was filled.<BR><BR>		I think grouping could be made a bit more interesting. 			In a circle formation, players would only be able to rescue the two players immediately above and below them on the group list (and the first and last on the list could rescue each other). Area attacks would target a specific player, and then have lesser effects on those around them (perhaps 100% damage on the target, 80% damage with a 10%chance of missing entirely on the neighbors in the group, and so on, maybe with a level modifier also).<BR><BR>
			In a column formation, an opponent would either engage the front or the rear of the column. The first and last pairs would fight at full ability, the second and second-last maybe at 75% and so on. With an odd number of group members there would be one in the middle. Players could only rescue those in the same or the next row of the column, but area attacks would affect the whole group.<BR><BR>There might be scope for more expansion in future major updates too. Mobs could have special abilities to attack more than one part of circle formation (dragons attacking in one place with claws, and lashing at another with their tail). Some spells might be useless in the middle of a column formation (shocking grasp would be no use, but lightning bolt would still be ok)<BR><BR>There are loads more ways combat mechanics could change for large enough groups, but there are some starting ideas here :)<BR><BR>-pitt.
