''Nati'': Early morning again but not QUITE as early. This time I dragged Tynian out for breakfast since he was unfortunate enough to be awake. Wistom had suggested that [http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/ Hash House A GoGo] was really good so we gave it a try. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend it but seriously, bring your appetite. After breakfast we just took a walk up the strip looking for a very hidden bank machine.

''Nati'': Tynian really wanted to play Munchkin so we rounded up Bliss, Sagan and Katrana for a couple rounds. First round was a little rocky, it was Tynian and Bliss' first time playing but the second round was great fun. The girls ROCKED the game! Especially after we all ganged up on Sagan when he was about to win. Through the entire game Bliss kept insisting she wanted pictures in exchange for help. Nobody would take her up on it!

Well most of it :O Then Katrana gained on Tyn and I, and won, which is still ok with me because of the whole GIRL POWER! stuff.... Second game was so funny between Natilena's crazy quotes (shall I say?) and us ganging up on Sagan! hehehehehehehehehe (Sorry, Sagan! Admit, it was funny!) And yes, all I requested to assist in defeating the monsters was a picture of the person (Tynian, usually) and they ALL refused! EVEN to their DETRIMENT! What was THAT about?! Even at his most solemn hour, Sagan refused my offer of help! *sigh*

''Nati'': It was time for Tynian to head home so we all said our goodbyes. We had a little time before dinner so there was some wandering around the slot machines for a bit before getting dressed and meeting back down in the lobby. Wistom also came to say goodbye since most of us were leaving first thing the next morning.

Taxi line was REALLY long and we had reservations so we decided to give the monorail a try. It was easy enough! Natilena, Wish, Katrana, Sagan and Gheorghe all rode the monorail, Bliss would be joining us later. Dinner was fantastic but very expensive! Gheorghe got all the leftovers to take home. :)

''Nati'': After dinner the rest took the monorail home and wandered off for gambling or sleep. I grabbed a ride back with Bliss and we took a walk out looking for jello shots and a little bit of shopping. I would like to note here we walked quite a bit and Bliss didn't complain even once! When we got back to the hotel Bliss wanted to play the slots a little, I'd already spent my limit but to keep busy I put $20 and... won?? Hrm! The seat beside bliss on the Batman slot opened up so I moved and sat down there and .. won again??! Overall for ME a great finish the the weekend! I cashed out with $150 I made from my $20.

''Bliss'': Hello. I don't complain if I'm window shopping! Sheesh. And Jello shots...never had one before. I was afraid, as you can tell. But, loved it! Cherry one, yum! Nati just raked in the cash on the slots! She knows and will admit the guys next to me would be *pissed* to know she did so well on their machine after they left :O HAR! Oh and the seats on the Batman slots...OMG! They uh...do stuff. Yea. Nice. I love Batman!

''Nati'': Sadness. Everyone leaves today. Katrana and Sagan left early, I left shortly after. Wish and Bliss met up for a bit. Wish left, Bliss went to an outlet store and went a little crazy and THEN left. Gheorghe lives there! Wistom was alone to find his own fun until the next day. But in the end.. we all have pillow pets to help us remember. And I have a bunny to strangle.


''Bliss'': Wish makes a great shopping companion, btw. Those tentacle thingies come in handy for carrying bags. Oh, and Nati. Let's get this straight. All I did was stop for gas in Primm. That's all! Well, until I saw the outlets across the way. Ugh. "Hello. My name is Bliss. I am a shopaholic."

P.S. I'm glad the pillowpets are being put to good use (whatever that may be). The GT was a lot of fun. You are all so nice and fun, and funny (Sagan and Wistom especially)! Tynian, Natilena, Katrana, Sagan, Wish, Wistom, Gheorghe, Vale - it was truly a pleasure meeting you. Until next time, au revoir! '''This part is called... meeting up!'''

''Nati'': I left the house at 5am :( but it was worth it. With like 3 or 4 hours sleep I made it to the airport and was on my way! I hear both Wish and the Sagan/Kat team also left around the same time. The funny thing I've been to Vegas a few times now but when I landed I had no CLUE where I was at all! Turns out us Canadians have been moved off to terminal 2! Katrana, Sagan and Wish were all in Terminal 1 waiting for me so I ended up walking up the path and managed to find them. After hugs all around we waited in the taxi line were off to the hotel.

I'm completely convinced EVERYONE in that taxi line thought we were insane, it was constant mud talk! It continued in the taxi and while the driver kept her eyes forward you really have to wonder what she was thinking.

At the hotel we all checked in and then came back down for a lunch in the Mexican restaurant. We shared a HUGE plate of nachos before a proper lunch.


 

''Katrana'': We (Sagan and I) left the house at 5:30am. We managed to remember to set the coffee maker to auto start though! So we were awake by the time we reached the airport. When we reached the airport, Squish was there too! He was standing under the Penn and Teller sign! We met up and hung out for Nati. All the while discussing TFC in standard GT fashion.

Nati's description of the HUGE is an understatement. There were 4 adults and we could not finish the never-ending plate of nachos. It was insane!

''Nati'': In the middle of dinner I got a message from Tynian he'd arrived at the hotel. Nobody knew he had decided to drive down. I told everyone I needed to make a phone call and went to bring him back to the restaurant. I introduced him just by saying "I brought a friend along, hope that's ok!". Wish was so cute and proper and asked him if he played TFC at all. That had the rest of us in giggles. After a little chatting we all had some down time to unpack and such. I checked in with Bliss and she was still not even close yet! I also found out Wistom had missed his flight and would be arriving later that evening as well.



''Katrana'': For the record, I called it the night before that Tynian was gonna show up! Haha!

''Bliss'': The traffic leaving Los Angeles was horrific. Domo was being incorrigible and completely irritated Papa Smurf. Domo kept saying, "Are we there yet?" and Papa Smurf said, "No. We'll be there when we get there." In the midst of this, Tynian said he was at work, but just checking to see how the drive was (little did I know he was already in Vegas - so tricksy!)

''Nati'': At this point Wistom showed up and Bliss finally showed up too! We knew she was actually IN the hotel and our extra special immortal senses tracked her down. Or maybe it was just that Katrana saw someone carrying a Papa Smurf doll. Hello's all around then Bliss went to unpack her room.

I was exhausted. Tried to go to sleep but that didn't work. Found the rest again and we all decided to hang out and chat with some drinks in Katrana and Sagan's room. Bliss somehow made me her pack horse and insisted I carry 2 very large bags filled with pillow pets across the casino. I had 3 separate people come up to me and ask what was in the bags! Rest of the evening was low key, pillow pets were distributed, I fell asleep on the chair.



''Katrana'': I gave chocolate to our resident chocoholic. I ended up with a penguin pillow pet (Nightfighter loves penguins) and a rainbow unicorn pillow pet...long story:P

''Bliss'': At the check-in counter, they found me. I gave Papa Smurf to Nati, she said well turn around, you can hand it to him yourself... I thought, "Whaaa..." So I turn around and see TYNIAN!!!!! Live and in person! Yay! "semi-heartattack* *big hug* Pass off the Papa Smurf! You sneaky devil, you! Later, Nati helps me (hey, she said she could do it!) carry the PillowPets while I got food. Nice visit in Katrana and Sagan's room with Tynian, Natilena, Katrana, Sagan, Wish, Wistom, Gheorghe, and me! Each and every one of them is extremely nice and I'm so glad I met them all. Forced them to pick random PillowPets but I think everyone was happy at the end :) Forgot to take the chocolate Katrana brought me. :( But, I'm making her keep it 'til I see her next!

''Nati'': I woke up too early Friday morning so took a walk up the strip and found a really neat breakfast. Potato skins filled with scrambled eggs and bacon! Took a few snapshots from the strip and of the hotel.

''Nati'': This was AWESOME! That's really all I have to say. Even better I actually managed to hit the targets! I don't recall the actual guns now but I shot a pistol, a shotgun, something fully automatic that went really quick and the fun little one with the scope.

The cab driver on the way back to the hotel was really really odd. First he insisted all 5 of us had to sit in the same small cab. There was NO room in the front, I was sitting 1/2 on top of the seat belts and 1/2 on top of Tynian's lap. Then he kept telling us these really racist jokes!


''Tynian'': So, why would I go with this group to a shooting range and not shoot? Two reasons: First, I was trying to keep my expenses down (which I did pretty well until I lost my mind gambling on Friday evening). And second, I'd never taken pictures at a shooting range before. I knew there was a possibility that they wouldn't let me take photos, but it seemed worth the risk. And indeed, only shooters allowed in the standard shooting -- the fact that I wanted to do my shooting with my trusty camera didn't seem to matter! There was a private shooting range option, and I would have been allowed inside, for a mere $50 ''per person''. Craziness!

''Katrana'': I was so nervous about shooting a gun! I shot a rifle before, and for some reason I was terrified. Still, I went through with it and had a blast! I shot a AR-15, and some 9mm, a P226 or a Glock or something like that. So much fun! I hit the target lots! I am now fully ready for a zombie invasion.

''Nati'': We finally met up with Vale and his lady friend! Little did I know this would be the ONLY time he appeared. We left the hotel and headed over to The Cosmopolitan, beautiful hotel! It was about a 10 minute walk over and Bliss whined the WHOLE WAY! In her defense she did warn us all ahead of time she doesn't walk and whines a lot. :) We had lunch at a fancy burger place called Holsteins. Vale's lady friend was nice and didn't seem too traumatized by the rest of us geeks. Lots of crazy cell phone pictures shall now follow!

We ran a couple errands Bliss needed to do for work and then off to the Fashion Show Mall and a visit to Build A Bear! ''Bliss'': Dinner at Yellowtail, great! Yes, it's true. Wish, with his supreme power of persuasion, convinced me to try the eel. I ate the eel *scrunched up nose*! The kobe beef was way, way better :P The "O" show was spectacular and incredible! Oh! And, OMG, there was a guy on FIRE for at least 5 whole minutes!!! I didn't believe Wish when he said it's a REAL guy. But it was. Head to toe! Fire! Inconceivable! Wish almost bought his wife a sculpture there too, "Price Upon Request," but decided it wasn't good enough for her. Go Squishy Power!

''Nati'': For the rest of the evening we split up again. The boys headed .. err .. somewhere! for more gambling. Katrana and I wandered through the shops in Caesars Palace and dodged questions about our matching shoes. We were kind of looking for the moving statues but they didn't appear to be working OR maybe.. possibly.. we were just in the wrong spot. It was a nice walk anyway!

''Katrana'': Haha, we got lost in Caesar's! Even though we had no idea where we were going it was a lovely stroll! Though everyone commented on our shoes, it was crazy!'

''Nati'': This was AWESOME! That's really all I have to say. Even better I actually managed to hit the targets! I don't recall the actual guns now but I shot a pistol, a shotgun, something fully automatic that went really quick and the fun little one with the scope.

The cab driver on the way back to the hotel was really really odd. First he insisted all 5 of us had to sit in the same small cab. There was NO room in the front, I was sitting 1/2 on top of the seat belts and 1/2 on top of Tynian's lap. Then he kept telling us these really racist jokes!


''Tynian'': So, why would I go with this group to a shooting range and not shoot? Two reasons: First, I was trying to keep my expenses down (which I did pretty well until I lost my mind gambling on Friday evening). And second, I'd never taken pictures at a shooting range before. I knew there was a possibility that they wouldn't let me take photos, but it seemed worth the risk. And indeed, only shooters allowed in the standard shooting -- the fact that I wanted to do my shooting with my trusty camera didn't seem to matter! There was a private shooting range option, and I would have been allowed inside, for a mere $50 ''per person''. Craziness!

''Nati'': We finally met up with Vale and his lady friend! Little did I know this would be the ONLY time he appeared. We left the hotel and headed over to The Cosmopolitan, beautiful hotel! It was about a 10 minute walk over and Bliss whined the WHOLE WAY! In her defense she did warn us all ahead of time she doesn't walk and whines a lot. :) We had lunch at a fancy burger place called Holsteins. Vale's lady friend was nice and didn't seem too traumatized by the rest of us geeks. Lots of crazy cell phone pictures shall now follow!


''Bliss'': 1. Vale and Lindsey are soooo nice! *hearts* 2. Cosmopolitan = so beautiful! 3. They LIED to me! It was NOT 1 block. It was NOT 10 minutes, either, more like 20! I explained that I was Frankenstein's Bride, using a walker with cut up tennis balls, did I not?

''Nati'': Well, I can't speak for the boys, they went off to gamble and didn't get any pictures but us ladies got the trip of a lifetime! Bliss, Katrana and I climbed into Bliss' car and then Katrana and I held on VERY tight as the crazy lady drove us around Vegas. We ran a couple errands Bliss needed to do for work and then off to the Fashion Show Mall and a visit to Build A Bear! Bliss recorded her voice, one per limb, Nati picked out a bunny and an outfit for it, Katrana just laughed.


''Bliss'': 1. Lies. You got me lost, Nati! I had to make up time, so we could optimize shopping time! Well ok, not a lie that I'm crazy. 2. That guy's hair at Build-a-Bear confuzzled me....but he was very nice :) 3. Nati named the bunny Bliss, btw, so she could stomp on it every time I do a no no, or a boo boo ...

''Nati'': A rest at the hotel again and then we gathered again to find some food. Wish and Bliss got together separately to have dinner at the Bellagio and watch "O" Cirque du Soleil show. I hear Wish managed to get Bliss to taste eel too.

The rest of us (Vale is now missing for the rest of the event) headed to a BBQ place in Treasure Island at Gheorghe's suggestion. We shared a big platter of food and enjoyed some more drinks.
