General Information/Trivia

• Elemental Canyon is one of the standard 'Stock' MUD zones. It was replaced by Living Lands, written by Nyx.
• Because the zone was filled with lots of small, active mobs that wandered, Elemental Canyon was a favorite place for 'golding.'

A land without the nuances of living lands, it's true,
and yet, though small, its wealth by far surpassed the new.
For livelong days large warriors from around the realm
would come to Elemental Canyon and speak its acclaim.
The hardest swingers would dance through with sword and spell
returning with their spoils to where the mages dwell.
"IDs!" They clamoured as their riches weighed down eggs with random loot,
so much so that mages yelled, "Strike!" and gave them the boot!
Now, the realm is perhaps for peaceable for wizardly folk.
However, although some still thrive, most of us are broke.
If EC returned to increase our financials once the more,
all would praise thy godly hearts.... (Well, the mages might be sore.)

The Floor of the Canyon
[Exits: north south west]
Various elemental forms wander the floor of the canyon.  Some seem to be
going about their business, while others seem to have no business at
all.  In general, it is calm, yet there is always an incessant buzz of
things going on about.  The canyon floor extends south and west.  You 
can
climb a rise in the canyon floor to the north.
The sky is cloudy and a warm southerly breeze blows.
(Hide) (Red Aura) A little imp runs along bequaff recalling annoying.
A tiny elemental form wanders about.
A small flickering flame elemental.
You flee from combat!  You lose 25 experience.
