A character's "class" is that character's occupation(s). The following classes are available:
Fighting classes
Magic classes
Thief classes
Misc. classess

Each class has a maximum that you can reach when you add magical gear.
For example, a Ranger can have 25 DEX with gear, whilst a Warrior can only have 22.
CON, LUC, INT and WIS are a maximum of 25 for all classes.
Multiple Classes
Your 'primary class' is determined by the highest class you have.
Example: The primary class of [Ra(12) Cl(15)] is Cleric.
When both classes are equal the first listed is Primary.
